What are Mercury and Neptune? Never heard of them.

It's dumb. Get off the high horse and drink whatever beverage one wants to drink.
I guess you could also get off your high horse and allow them to create whatever ad one wants to create...

Enjoyed a Great Lakes Blackout Stout. A little heavy on the calories at 270 and 9%.

Question I enjoy Great Lakes Conway's Irish ale it is only sold between now and April.
how is the best way to store beer so it will keep longer into the summer?

In the corner of the basement (cellar is what you might call it) away from light, under 60 degrees, but above 45.

OK that should be easy ..... so that will let the beer keep long than the exp. date

It's 6.5%, so I would not keep it more than a few months past the date.

I assume this is why they still don't use any branding except Budweiser, since that's recognized as domestic.

Hell yeah. If you drink what I do, then we can enjoy it together. If not, then it's more for me. Everyone wins.

Well, if it's hypocritical, I don't really think there's anything wrong with pointing it out.

I've seen reviews all over the board for this, so I don't know what to expect once I get around to trying it. What's your take?

Had a Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere and a couple Cuvée des Jacobins Flemish Sours last night. Tonight will be drinking Hopslam.
  • GOONx19
Also got a pack of Live but I haven't tried it yet. The sour last night was one of the best I've ever had.

I really like this years offering. Best it's been in years in my opinion. The Wife just found 2 more 6 packs I bought last week while going through some bags. I love drunj shopping for beer.

Habenaro Sculpin and 420 sweetwater for me last weekend. The Sculpin was packing some serious HEAT!

Hopslam is definitely better this year, had it on tap. But I had a better IPA tonight, calculated risk by The Answer. As good as Maine lunch and DFH 90.

Going to try Hopslam for the first time tonight. Local taproom is doing an event and will have just one keg of it on tap. They said they don't have anymore cans so hopefully I don't like it too much. I not a big IPA fan though.

I am not an IPA fan unless it is an elite (DFH90&120, Pliny, Lagunitas, Lunch, Heady, Stone, Green Bullet), but this years Hopslam is the best they have put on recently.

Best hopslam release to date. Deedamndelish. Going on a hunt for another 6.
  • Iliketurtles
Never gave my review on it when I had it the other day but they had it on tap again at The Basement East in Nashville when I went there for a Burlesque show last night. Was really shocked to see they had it. Fucking fantastic. Just makes me wish I could get more of it. Definitely the best IPA I've ever had.

Lulz had to go to page 3 to find this thing.

Had Founders KBS for the first time ever today. Definitely glad I left work early and was able to get a 4 pack of it.
