This is the most likely scenario if he goes to Purdue. Don't know why any up and coming coach would go there. Surely he'll have way better options available.superman;1826218 wrote:Could be a millstone that sinks his career. -
Ironman92Louisville loses to Kentucky....Clemson better fucking worry about Washington
-
Fly4FunI seriously thought that Pitt/Syracuse score was a misplaced college basketball line... 76-61.
-
Ironman92....though doubtful they'd jump a 2 loss Wisconsin so probably moot
1 thing for certain....can't drop Michigan much -
Ironman921. Bama
2. OSU
3. Clemson
4. Wash
5. Michigan
6. Wisconsin
7. Penn St
8. Oklahoma
9. Colorado -
Ironman92If Washington or Clemson loses....can Michigan get in? Do they need PSU to lose again even though they beat them 49-10? Do the need Colorado to lose again even though they beat them by 17?
A ton of scenarios remain....especially is PSU loses to MSU and Wisconsin beats OSU -
MulvaMichigan beat PSU and Wisconsin. I can't see them getting dinged for a double OT loss today. I think they get in with a Clemson or Washington loss.
-
slingshot4everPSU better win today
-
Ironman92Wisconsin...c'mon man. Not helping the resume
-
Ironman92
They will but are in a fightslingshot4ever;1826416 wrote:PSU better win today -
Ironman92Will be rooting for Wisconsin vs Penn State
-
Ironman92Clemson better hope FSU beats Florida.

wildcats20South Carolina fake punt worse than OSU's?

Azubuike24The Pittsburgh QB completes 9 passes and they score 76 points.
-
Azubuike24Navy runs for 496 yards in a win over SMU. Dang.
-

They scored on every possession and once on defense while pulling their starters in the 3rd. They had 2 quarterbacks with over 100 yards rushing. It's pretty hard to score that many points in a college football game. They would crush WMU.Azubuike24;1826451 wrote:Navy runs for 496 yards in a win over SMU. Dang. -
Ironman92Penn State's best road win (by a lot) was at Indiana....they are 6-6
-
Con_Alma
They have punted exactly 2 times in the month of November. Now that deserves a, "Dang!"Azubuike24;1826451 wrote:Navy runs for 496 yards in a win over SMU. Dang. -
Ironman92If Colorado beats Utah then Washington will not have a road win over a top 25 team.
-
MulvaIt would be interesting if Colorado and Penn State both won conference title games. Do either of them get in over Michigan, who beat both? Does the committee say fuck it and put the Bedlam winner in over all of them?
-

i think bama, OSU, Clemson are likely locked in. I don't see Bama or Clemson losing next week. I think it comes down to Washington and Big Ten Winner for 4th spot. UM and Big 12 are out.Mulva;1826483 wrote:It would be interesting if Colorado and Penn State both won conference title games. Do either of them get in over Michigan, who beat both? wildcats20So did Lamar lose the Heisman yesterday?
-
Ironman92
I'm still hearing that he is the only candidate.wildcats20;1826496 wrote:So did Lamar lose the Heisman yesterday? -
ironman02The playoff picture, to me, looks like this.
Alabama - In, even if they lose to Florida, which absolutely has zero chance of happening.
Clemson - In if they beat Va Tech.
Washington - If they beat Colorado, I think the committee puts them in despite the flaws in their resume
Last spot is for the B1G Ten - I think Wisconsin is out since they lost head-to-head to OSU on their home field. If PSU wins the B1G Championship, I still worry that the committee will value the head-to-head win and a conference championship more than Ohio State's SOS and quality wins. It's possible that the committee could decide to put a 2 loss B1G Champ and OSU in, and leave Washington out, but I just don't see them doing that.
Basically, I still think Ohio State has to root for VT/Colorado/Wisconsin to be safe.
