If McAdams is hitting no one stays close to them. He's been ineffective tonight

Antino Jackson is the Steph Curry of the MAC. Dude is making some ridiculous threes right now. First off the sick top-of-the-key crossover, then a straightaway from 27 feet.

    I love Akron.

Ugh 12:03 first media timeout. So next whistle, there will be another. I can't be the only one who was hoping there'd be no foul there just to avoid that.

That sucks. Fucking Buffalo. Nobody likes your city.

But no one likes Keith Dambrot in the MAC, lol

True. The man can coach, though.

With that type of firepower from beyond the arc, Akron might have had a chance to dance for awhile. Another conference favorite falls.

Oh yeah, look at Ohio in 2010, they went 7-9 in conference, but won the tourney and then bombed the shit out of Georgetown from 3.
If Akron wins tonight and comes in hot (especially McAdams), they could have easily done the same.

Dakich not amused that Akron didn't foul since there were fouls to give. MAC refs are typically so foul happy that I think coaches are so used to double bonus on both sides by the under 8:00 that it didn't even cross his mind.

Oh isn't it awful? Every BG game in 14-15 you were on pins and needles that Holmes wouldn't be in foul trouble

I doubt anyone gets on pins and needles with BG basketball.

By my totally unqualified estimation, there are 3 spots available between these 8 teams; Michigan, San Diego State, Temple, South Carolina, Florida, Monmouth, Vandy, and Syracuse.

I think Wichita, St Mary's, Cinci, and St Bonaventure, and the VCU/St Joe's loser tomorrow are safe. A Memphis win would take 1 more spot away.

Hawaii up 6 at the break over long Beach in a game full of flopping.

Buzzer beater in the WAC. Right in Pascal Siakam's eye.

I was hoping to see another Bhullar (New Mexico St.) in the tourny since we won't get to see Mamadou Ndiaye(UC Irvine). Won't be any sideshow attractions in the tourny this year.

Wow. Oregon beat the shit out of Utah.
  • Azubuike24
Utah's results are so up and down depending on their guards. I'd bet against them in the tournament despite have Poeltl. They simply lack talent in the back court.
  • ironman02
I think Oregon has a legit argument to be the #1 seed in the West. Seems like MSU will probably get it if they win today though.

Gottlieb was riding Oregon hard for the 1 in the West. Makes sense, if they want to keep some geography.

However, putting them as a #1 in the West, puts MSU and Villanova as #2's in regions where they might have a big home court advantage (MSU in Chicago, Nova in Philly). Especially if Purdue wins today.

Midwest (Chicago) - 1. Kansas, 2. Michigan State
South (Louisville) - 1. North Carolina, 2. Purdue
    West (Anaheim) - 1. Oregon, 2. Oklahoma
    East (Philadelphia) - 1. Virginia, 2. Villanova

I predict that somehow, Oregon steals the last #1, Kansas, Michigan State and Kentucky all go to the Midwest in the "bracket of hell."

That would suck for Kansas. Great "reward" for being the #1 overall seed.

I'd be fine with it though. I feel like KU, MSU, and UK could ALL potentially win this thing, so making sure that Carolina would only have to face one of them at some point would be fantastic. lol
  • Azubuike24
Well, if the committee gives Oregon a #1, they are clearly the 4th #1, which SHOULD mean they get the best #2, which is MSU. However, then the debate becomes...MSU could've gotten a 1, we bumped them to a 2, now we send them West? The committee always screws up logical stuff like this and ends up putting the best 1 with the best 2, somehow.
  • Azubuike24
He essentially has it flipped, with MSU as the last 1 and Oregon as the first 2, in the West. Makes some sense. He also has Xavier as a 2, and Utah as the 3 in KU's bracket. What a ridiculously weak bracket that would be.

Also has Virginia and Oklahoma in Louisville w/UK.

    Latest from Lunardi.
    Really like the Carolina region.
  • wildcats20
Lunardi is really just good at getting the 68 teams and seeds correct, right? I feel like he is horrible at predicting where they will place teams.
