College Basketball Random Chatter 2015-2016 Season

wildcats20And Rutgers won a football game.
But hey. -
wildcats20This man on the pre game for Kansas State/Texas Tech just said KSU still has a chance to make the tournament. THEY HAVE 14 LOSSES. 14.
-
reclegend22Did LSU give Ben Simmons' dad a tractor?
I can't recall a more puzzling choice by a recruit as coveted as Simmons. I feel like he was totally duped. Johnny Jones should devise a pyramid scheme after LSU has fired him. -

I've thought this all along. There is absolutely no way that LSU isn't paying him/his family.reclegend22;1784798 wrote:Did LSU give Ben Simmons' dad a tractor?

Must have been Norm Chad. He stated last night during the Belmont-Austin Peay game that head coach Dave Loos has turned Peay into one of the preeminent mid-major powers in recent years. The Governors have sported five consecutive losing seasons.wildcats20;1784795 wrote:This man on the pre game for Kansas State/Texas Tech just said KSU still has a chance to make the tournament. Laley23Just saw Rutgers won, Wildcats. Can't believe how bad Minny is now with all their players gone and hurt lol.
-
Laley23Anyone read this Bo Ryan story on Deadspin??
I got to the email, but then had to run out and do some errands. -
reclegend22Butler dropped 51 on Marquette at the half. The Bulldogs still play a beautiful brand of basketball. The leader at the helm may be different, but the presence of Brad Stevens is still largely present.
-
friendfromlowryFeels like Perry Ellis has been playing at Kansas since 2007.
-
MulvaWichita State goes down in the MVC.
-
reclegend22Decent senior night for Gabe York, being that he almost outscored Stanford. He finishes with 32 points and nine threes in his last home game. Almost every shot he took was a heat check.

ironman02Virginia Tech just crushed Miami in Blacksburg.
If Carolina beats Duke tonight, they will clinch the #1 seed in the ACC Tournament, and also finish alone in 1st place in the ACC Standings.
If Duke wins tonight, Carolina, Miami, and the winner of VT/Louisville would all finish 13-5 in ACC play. -
reclegend22If Duke wins tonight, it will be 9 out of 11 for the Blue Devils in the rivalry and five in a row. It is unfortunate that this won't happen.
After suffering another collapse for the ages in the last meeting at the Dean Dome, North Carolina will be out for blood. Brice Johnson destroyed Duke in the first encounter and this time around I expect Johnson and his front-court counterparts to finish the job. With Jefferson sidelined, the Blue Devils just can't compete in the paint with Carolina when the Heels are operating at their best. -

With the Miami loss and if Duke wins pretty sure the winner of the Virginia/Louisville game will win the ACCironman02;1784813 wrote:Virginia Tech just crushed Miami in Blacksburg.

If all three have a 13-5 record in league play, they're all co-winners of the regular season. Not sure how the seeding would go in the ACCT, but they would all share the regular season "title".Iliketurtles;1784816 wrote:With the Miami loss and if Duke wins pretty sure the winner of the Virginia/Louisville game will win the ACC -

wildcats20This is not a reverse jinx, but I truly feel this is a Dook 15 or so point win.

Have the same awful feeling. Hope we're wrong.wildcats20;1784819 wrote:This is not a reverse jinx, but I truly feel this is a Dook 15 or so point win. -
wildcats20Kennedy Meeks HAS to play great. If he doesn't, it's a loss.

Lol. I really do believe that, though.ironman02;1784818 wrote:Nice try!
Carolina is too strong up front. Bereft of going berserk from deep, I don't see how Duke prevents a mauling here. -

That makes sense... That's what I get for trusting an ACC reporter or ESPN person posting on twitter. I guess maybe they meant that UVA would be the 1 seed in the ACCT if Duke won and they won.ironman02;1784817 wrote:If all three have a 13-5 record in league play, they're all co-winners of the regular season. JJ came to play too. -

They just said that Carolina is the 1 seed no matter what happens tonight.Iliketurtles;1784823 wrote:That makes sense... That's what I get for trusting an ACC reporter or ESPN person posting on twitter. I guess maybe they meant that UVA would be the 1 seed in the ACCT if Duke won and they won. -

Wrong. It's because Ulis is. They don't deserve to have 2.wildcats20;1784775 wrote:Murray from UK not on the list as well. That's a crime. Haven't heard why he isn't, but I'm sure it's academics as well.
