Defense struggling to get off the field on 3rd down. But in fairness, they have been on the field almost the entire game.Ironman92;1766264 wrote:That's a great thing and also a bad thing...IF THE DEFENSE can't make a stop. Offense waiting to go! -
wildcats20Is this for real?
@slmandel: With 1:54 left in the first quarter, Notre Dame, which returned a kickoff for a TD, has yet to run an offensive play. -

Ironman92Not impressed with Stanford's play calling and offensive sets.
-
Ironman92Notre Dame is better than Stanford
-
sherm03ND can't keep trading FGs for TDs. Finally get a stop on D and only come away with a FG is tough.
-

I don't think Stanford will score 10 more points. ND going to pass 30 pointssherm03;1766270 wrote:ND can't keep trading FGs for TDs. Finally get a stop on D and only come away with a FG is tough.
Stanford's play calling reminds me of OSU last week -
sherm03"Greer Martini! Shaken! Not stirred!"
I fucking love Gus Johnson calling this game. -
sherm03Will Fuller finally showing up after being pretty much non-existent the last 2 weeks.
-
IggyPride00Oklahoma State has a better claim to be in the playoff than Ohio State if they win tonight.
-
sherm03Kizer makes a great play and then fucking fumbles before the half. Even getting 3 there would have been huge with ND getting the ball to start the second half. Fuck.

How so? Don't forget they have an FCS opponent, same reason UNC not being taken seriously. OSU also has a better loss.IggyPride00;1766275 wrote:Oklahoma State has a better claim to be in the playoff than Ohio State if they win tonight. -
IggyPride00I am amazed with a trip to the playoff on the line ND is choking this game away. A trip to the playoff is sitting right there for them to be locked in stone and they don't want it.
-

Not in stone at all. They still need help, even if they win. If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State, I think they get in...even if ND beats Stanford.IggyPride00;1766278 wrote:I am amazed with a trip to the playoff on the line ND is choking this game away. A win over Oklahoma is better than anything on the Buckeyes schedule, and they have a 2nd win over over TCU that is equal to the Buckeyes best win. Their only loss is to a top 10 team.slingshot4ever;1766277 wrote:How so? Don't forget they have an FCS opponent, same reason UNC not being taken seriously. OSU also has a better loss.
The Buckeyes best win is a 3 loss Michigan team. It just isn't an impressive resume at all quite frankly.
They have only 1 win against a top 25 team. That is not the makings of a playoff team. -
Ironman92I think Oklahoma might be #2 this week if they continue
-
sherm03No shot at the playoffs for Notre Dame. They need to win this just to get to the Fiesta Bowl.
-
Ironman92
No, a lot of chances.sherm03;1766283 wrote:No shot at the playoffs for Notre Dame. They need to win this just to get to the Fiesta Bowl.
Win here....then have Stanford defeat USC
1. Clemson win
2. Mich St win
3. Ok in
4. Fla St beat Fl and Fl beat Bama
There you go! -
Ironman92Stanford has to have receivers open over the middle after a fake/play action
-
sleeperI don't think ND wants to play OSU. It will be a blood bath but 50 points depdning on if Urban uses Zeek or not.
-
Ironman92Terrible stubbornness by Stanford.....there is a reason we've only seen ND's punter once. I'd guess ND scores within 2-3 minutes
-
IggyPride00Oklahoma is in at this point.
Winner of Iowa/MSU in for sure.
Florida would need to pull off the upset of the century or Bama is in for sure.
Winner of NC/Clemson has to be in as well since NC would have the best win of any of the 1 loss teams, with Clemson having the 2nd best resume of the 1 loss teams if chaos occurred with the SEC title game. -
sherm03
I don't think ND wants to play anyone. This secondary is atrocious.sleeper;1766287 wrote:I don't think ND wants to play OSU. It will be a blood bath but 50 points depdning on if Urban uses Zeek or not. -

Won't need a secondary with the obvious run callssherm03;1766291 wrote:I don't think ND wants to play anyone. This secondary is atrocious. -
Ironman92Throwing downfield has worked but with lead they just go with some clock eating
Trusting of the defense this hasn't been very good
