Pretty much anytime I put fingers to keys it's gonna be brilliant. When are the rest of you idiots finally gonna grasp that?FatHobbit;1752473 wrote:Sorry, it's hard for me to keep straight how many times you've graced us with your brilliance. -

sherm03Gunner Kiel got knocked out of this UC/Memphis game. Gave himself up and was sliding and the kid from Memphis came in and blasted him in the head. Took him away in a stretcher.
Somehow, they waved off the targeting penalty. I have no idea how that happens. -

early reports are positive. that was an ugly hit glad he's seemingly oksherm03;1752971 wrote:Gunner Kiel got knocked out of this UC/Memphis game. Gave himself up and was sliding and the kid from Memphis came in and blasted him in the head. Took him away in a stretcher.

Did they take away the targeting or the PF also?sherm03;1752971 wrote:Somehow, they waved off the targeting penalty. I have no idea how that happens. -

gerb131Coming down to wire in Memphis. 53-46 Cinci driving for tie less than a minute left.
-
gerb131That'll do it. Crazy int as qb tried to fling out as he was being sacked deflected off uc guy right into a Memphis line for a pick.
-
Azubuike24Memphis is one of the most fortunate teams I've seen. Somehow they are a decent 4-0.

TiernanRemember when y'all were calling old Tiernan out for warning you about Harbaugh? Yeah well bow down to me once again mofos...he's turning scUM around week by week. Absolutely blowing BYU up right now. You got your hands full Urbie...better get the shit together today.

MulvaFournette continues to be a monster.

Ironman92B1G starting to build some steam

Ironman92Georgia Tech isn't helping ND any this week....they may come back and win but have looked bad against Duke.
-
Ironman92Forget what I said....Duke's QB has terrible tunnel vision and is making sure they shit themselves.
-
TiernanIf Zeke doesnt start racking up 200+ games - Fournette wins the Heisman by the 5th game.
-
Ironman92Duke has had 6 straight plays following a run or reception that have been snapped before the clock hit 16 seconds. Game would already be over....it's not like they are picking up 1st downs because they are not.

Does not matter one bit. If ND makes it through the season unbeaten (not likely...but if they do), they are in the playoffs. They bring in too much money to be shut out if they are undefeated.Ironman92;1753191 wrote:Georgia Tech isn't helping ND any this week....they may come back and win but have looked bad against Duke. -

Ok thanks...but when there is a large cluster of 1 loss teams it doesn't help ND if they are one of them fighting for maybe the final spot.sherm03;1753198 wrote:Does not matter one bit. Totally depends on the situation. ND will always have the advantage because of the money they bring in. If you think the committee REALLY cares about figuring out the best team then you're pretty naive. It's about the money. So if there are a bunch of 1-loss teams, and it's clear that a 1-loss team is going to get in, Notre Dame has a huge advantage over most teams.Ironman92;1753203 wrote:Ok thanks...but when there is a large cluster of 1 loss teams it doesn't help ND if they are one of them fighting for maybe the final spot. -

TCU/Baylor undefeated
Bama, Ohio St, Oregon, ND all 1 loss. If you believe ND would make it then you are pretty naive yourself.
Way too early, no one knows what is going to happen....maybe all of those teams have 2 losses and a few others 1.
Still early and I'm trying to figure out how good teams are....I imagine voters are doing the same. The ND win looked darn good, now it looks a little less....over the course of the season it will become less and less, but ND will have to beat better teams than GT. -
sleeperND should get an auto-bid every year to the playoffs even if they are 0-12. One of the joys of college football is watching ND get blown out in big games.
