B1G Championship Game: (10) Michigan State 34, (2) Ohio State 24

I think OSU's speed will be too much for MSU, especially inside on that track. I predict 35-17 OSU.

    28-17, Buckeyes.

Dantonio realizes a victory here over Meyer would elevate him to a whole other level in the ranks of coaches. He will try to outwork Meyer's staff this week which will be hard to do but he will take on that challenge. He will particularly look at the misdirectional short play action passing scUM successfully executed on the OSU Defense. The Sparty Defense is strong against the run but they haven't seen anything like Hyde this year. I predict a low scoring game, probably along the lines of 24 - 21.

Gameday will be in the house

MSU gave up 182 yards on the ground and 28 points against a bad Nebraska team without Taylor Martinez. I just can't see them holding Miller and Hyde below 250 yards rushing.

If OSU's special teamers and the guys rushing the QB don't over pursue.....they will win.

Sounds easy but 3 of Michigan's TD drives were results of this tackling issue much earlier in the possessions.....2 on 3rd downs that should've forced a punting situation.

Flashes of '97, we're going down this weekend I think. Spartans by 7

Michigan State can't score enough to beat us, I think we win by 2 scores. Our offense is as good as anyones.

Not true at all, this offense is clicking lately. That game against Minnesota they kept the playbook shut the whole time. Connor Cook is a baller and Fowler is a pretty good receiver

I would assume so. He did 2011, can't find last years.
  • se-alum
He did the 2012 game too.

Yeah it was.....TJ Turner was a sophomore and he made the 4th and 1 stop. Two years prior he played for Hillsboro and faced my hometown team in the playoffs and was the most dominating high school football player I had ever seen.

The '98 team was the best and most talented Ohio State squad I can remember - when Cooper lost to Michigan State it was his death knell.
