My guess is a lawsuit(s) from parents of kids injured during the fall. Not that OSU couldn't afford to settle the claims, but this seems clearly aimed to limit the viability of future lawsuits.

Another example of the "lawyer-up" nature of America nowadays. I hate it (which is why I will never be a personal injury lawyer).

    Me too.

Unless they are signing a waiver when they get a wristband, how would that help?

Possibly to regulate the maximum capacity of the people in the area?
  • Tiernan
That's the reason I said "believe it or don't" because I'd heard the 1990 BS before. We didn't have any "official sanction" or need one...we just did it. And yes I was shit faced...you pussies deal with it.

My guess is they really just wanted to find a way to control the amount of extremely drunk people that make it through the line, because it's normally those people that pose the most serious danger to the university in terms of something bad happening.

Saw Gigi Meyer talking about jumping in. You think she'll be able to get a wristband without a Buck ID??

Just admit you have no idea how Twitter works. No I don't follow her, "numnutz".

    1. I think twitter is dumb.

    But...

    2. Tiernan, you are an idiot if you think following someone on twitter is stalking. That's like claiming watching the nightly news is stalking the news anchor. The entire point of that medium is for people to follow you.

Twitter is a must for sports fans though. No better way to get sports news. Also, according to Tiernan, I am stalking 707 people, that's gotta be illegal, right?

I disagree about it being a must. I've heard that many times before and checked it out. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Following GiGi Meyer is not the same as following Peyton Manning. It's creepy and weird for an adult man...numnutz.
