Classyposter58BG beat WKU tonight, looked pretty decent actually. Great athletes, just cannot run a half court offense to save their lives but hey BG can force turnovers. I was impressed, Xavier will probably kill them Saturday though

Gotcha. I was just wondering because I did the graphics for the game on BCSN.Classyposter58;1547187 wrote:Went. Since I transferred there I go to all the games, nothing much else to do on a weeknight ya know so I just head on over
Probably the only game I will try at all year, since it was our first covered game lol -

Oh cool. Were you in the arena or where do you do that atLaley23;1547239 wrote:Gotcha. I was just wondering because I did the graphics for the game on BCSN.

Inside our production trailer. It parks behind at the loading dock area.Classyposter58;1547908 wrote:Oh cool. Were you in the arena or where do you do that at -

Ah okay cool. Actually got to see a decent game then, one of the few out of the Falcons I expectLaley23;1547994 wrote:Inside our production trailer. It parks behind at the loading dock area. -
Classyposter58Wow BG took Xavier to OT in Cincy before losing, good week for the basketball team

SportsAndLadyFuckin OU lost to Oakland, 1-6 (before the game) Oakland.
-
Pick6Zips had a nice win over Cleveland St yesterday after what seemed like a 3 week hiatus. Hopefully they can continue to get back on track before this Christmas tournament in Hawaii where they have a chance to pick up a few nice wins.

How...did that happen? I just saw the score this afternoon and about did a double-take.SportsAndLady;1550550 wrote:Fuckin OU lost to Oakland, 1-6 (before the game) Oakland. -

For anybody here who has watched Xavier or Bowling Green this year (I think there used to be some Musketeer fans here), is X really that bad or is Bowling Green getting better? I imagine it's some combination of X just playing poorly in that given game and BG playing as well as it possibly could have, before the clock struck Midnight and reality set in for both teams.Classyposter58;1550532 wrote:Wow BG took Xavier to OT in Cincy before losing, good week for the basketball team -
Laley23Oakland has played about everyone who is anyone though. That 1-6 record is EXTREMELY deceiving. Travis Bader can score on anyone.
-
birddog23Agreed. Jury still out on Oakland. They've lost to UNC, UCLA, Cal, and Gonzaga.
They can really score the ball, I think they will end up being pretty good come seasons end. -
HereticI just looked at the box score for that OU-Oakland game. Talk about bizarre. A total of 11 players scored in the game for both teams combined. 10 of them were in double figures, with one OU guy finishing with 2 points to keep it from being unanimous.

Classyposter58Falcons beat North Dakota tonight. Looked solid again, Holmes had a beast game including 3 monster alley-oops Sam Thompson would be proud of. This guy if he realized potential should dominate in conference, 6'8" big bodied guy with great athleticism, ball handling and vision plus a nice shot. Had some monster blocks as well

Heard he had a double-double-double. Where did this kid come from? Don't remember him from last year.Classyposter58;1552318 wrote:Falcons beat North Dakota tonight. Pick6How about them Zips! Win on a national stage with Obama in attendance. Should be interesting to see how they stack up against ISU tomorrow.
Nice win for the Bobcats over Richmond today. With they way some of the OOC games are turning out..I am beginning to think the MAC is stronger this season than usual. -

I'm hoping so. I'm pleasantly surprised by Ohio being a bit better than expected and there are some other teams playing really well right now. It'd at least be nice to be considered a solid mid-major conference instead of being lumped in with the cannon fodder ones.Pick6;1556852 wrote:How about them Zips! SportsAndLadyOU busses down students (usually 5-15 busses full of students) to the bowl game...started my senior year at OU.
This year apparently a kid was arrested in St Petersburg Sunday night, and when the busses were leaving Monday, they stopped by the county jailhouse to pick him up...he came out to 6 busses of screaming students.
Awesome -
Laley23The MAC is way better than I thought they would be. But I still see them as a 1 bid league unless. Possibly 2 if Toledo and Akron meet in the finals. Definitely two is Toledo beats Kansas (or even plays them real tough) and then loses in the finals giving them like a 29-3 record.

HereticOhio ought to learn pretty quickly where they fit into the mix in the conference.
Play at Kent tomorrow and then host Akron during the weekend. Tough one-two punch to open the conference season. -

Agreed. I'll be happy if the Bobcats go 1-1 in this tough start.Heretic;1564241 wrote:Ohio ought to learn pretty quickly where they fit into the mix in the conference.
