Wish the fucks in the NCAA could have done that earlier, so he could have gotten PT against their non-conference slate. Question: Why was in in limbo for so long? I've never really read anything explaining his ineligibility and why it lasted as long as it did and I at least made one half-assed Google search!

    Pretty much this

Diebler definitely worked hard and improved every year

Nice to see a game on Saturday at least here. It's a bunch of bologna that OSU almost never gets home Saturday games anymore

They aren't going to play home games on Saturday during football season.

Ha duh. But currently they only have 5 possible Saturday games with two being tossups and only one being at home against Iowa. The last 3 years Ohio State has had almost no Saturday home games at all which just sucks. Crowds are so much livelier on a Saturday than a Sunday afternoon

Up by 10 early on against Kentucky
  • wildcats20
Playing with a TON of confidence. Defense looks great too.

    Wrong thread...

Huge 3 for the Bucks going into half after giving away most of the lead.
  • FatHobbit
Ha! Where did this come from?

Gotta keep it up for seven more minutes. Easily their best game no matter what, so it'd be heartbreaking to let Kentucky get back.

Harris has been so good today. Runs the team better than Lyle.

    This is crazy

Damn, what a win! Almost completely inexplicable, but awesome as hell to watch!

What a great win! Can't believe they pulled that off. When it got down to 3 I thought for sure UK was going to take it. Murray was on fire. Huge win!

I missed the game, but congrats to OSU. This game should mean something in March, barring a meltdown from UK.
  • Midstate01
Lol you didn't miss the game. Stop it.

I'm kidding fyi, I did too. On the road driving in new Mexico.

    UT Arlington and Louisiana Tech

Well, at least they are improving

I have to give them some credit last night. They shot like shit and committed 16 turnovers, but still beat Mercer (makes the tournament reasonably often) by 20 and pretty much dominated the second half.

I think Matta is a pretty good coach. (That may be a huge understatement) If he can get this team to the tournament after the way they started I will be very very impressed.

I can see it happening if they keep improving as a team. Considering they beat Kentucky and played right with Virginia, the talent is there, but I think, as with a lot of young teams, the effort hasn't been there game-in and game-out. That's what impressed me about the Mercer game -- they were struggling a lot skill-wise, but in the second half, really put things together effort-wise and were able to win going away.

If they can take care of business in the B1G against other teams who had mediocre/blah non-conference seasons and at least get 2 or so wins in their five games with the ranked teams (MSU, Maryland, Purdue), they'll be in pretty good shape, I think.
