You weren't far off. Missouri #14 and Georgia #16. Neither of these teams are any good.Fly4Fun;1516948 wrote:But seriously, with all the SEC love, who wouldn't be surprised to see Missouri in the top 10 now and Georgia still in top 15. -

Uhhhhhh.... you obviously missed the point I CLEARLY made BEFORE last weekend about ALL THE INJURES. Nice job Goon.GOONx19;1516744 wrote:I hope you are WATCHing this game. GEORGIA looks great. Who is Missouri's best player?
PLUS... Missouri is one of, if not THE top team in the East (now that they beat Georgia). Georgia was bound to lose this game, after the brutal schedule they've already played.

rydawg5Missou are now world beaters, we get it.

Midstate01Missouri loses by 20+ if Georgia is healthy. Yet the media still acts like they beat a full strength Georgia. Or maybe its just because they beat another sec team so they must be really good.

Uhhhhhhh...... you obviously missed the point I CLEARLY made. Georgia sucks, inside or outside a vacuum. The SEC is down. Injuries are a part of football. Good teams find a way to keep winning. You are a moron if you still think Georgia is the real deal. I think that's the best thing you can say about OSU at this point with the Iowa game. Despite losing Bryant previously and then Roby ejected early on, we still won.GOONx19;1520311 wrote:Uhhhhhhh...... you obviously missed the point I CLEARLY made. Texas Tech at Oklahoma is the biggest game next week and winner should be ranked 6th. I know Baylor is putting up crazy numbers but they havent played anyone yet to justify being a top 10 team. -

Doesn't matter. I'll bet OSU is 5th or 6th when the BCS comes out tomorrow. The only upside to the BCS coming out this week is that the SEC SOS took a significant dive because a bunch of SEC teams lost to bottom-feeder SEC teams...should drag everyone else down accordingly.believer;1520609 wrote:Coaches poll drops Ohio State from 3rd to 4th but remains at #4 in meaningless AP poll:

Agreed. Even though the SEC is clearly not as strong this year it only increases the odds that Alabama will run the tables insuring yet another spot in the NC. Meanwhile Oregon looks unstoppable but face UCLA and Stanford the next 2 weeks.dlazz;1520646 wrote:Doesn't matter. I'll bet OSU is 5th or 6th when the BCS comes out tomorrow. But yeah, still a lot of football to be played. -
Azubuike24I was pleasantly happy with the polls this week. Wasted no time rewarding unbeatens Missouri, Baylor and Miami with the 5, 6 and 7 spots.
Whether you think those teams are legit or not, it doesn't matter. They haven't lost, whereas almost everyone else but Stanford and Clemson have 2 or more losses. -

Agreed although Missouri's OOC is almost as weak as Ohio State's. I still think they got an inflated bump up simply because they're uniforms sport an SEC logo. If they beat South Carolina next week then I'll start to believe it a little more. Just sayin'Azubuike24;1520759 wrote:I was pleasantly happy with the polls this week. I think the pollsters got it right when they put Florida State in at the #3 slot. They manhandled #25 Maryland and #3 Clemson back-to-back and deserved the jump. Can't wait to see the Florida State vs. Miami match-up in 2 weeks.
Baylor seems like the real deal and we'll find out over the next 2 weeks if Texas Tech deserves the #10 ranking. Something's bound to give there especially when Texas Tech and Baylor meet on November 16th. -

Azubuike24Of the 4, I think only Baylor is legit.
As I said though, we can forget who they have played because we're 8 weeks in and they haven't lost.
Texas Tech, Missouri and Miami, very good chance all lose (MU at USC, TT at OU, UM at FSU in 2 weeks).
