You're a dope. Miller averaged 18 pass attempts per game, Guiton has averaged 31 attempts LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLccrunner609;1507282 wrote:but you have to remember, KG blew out those teams and we basically ran the ball the rest of the game.
George Whitfield says Miller has one of the nicest deep balls he has seen. George Whitfield > Peewee Football Coach > YouAs for previous posts about BM being a better long ball passer......I beg to differ. KG is way better at targets over 30 yards. -

That's funny, I thought since you have such a steel trap for a memory, you'd be able to get a hold of these alleged "opinions" without any trouble. You didn't seem to have any problem remembering what I allegedly said...Pick6;1507304 wrote:If you want to look up posts from 2-3 years ago, go ahead.
Because you have brought it up many times in the past, and you know, im not, stupid.

Clearly a difference between remembering and looking something up. I mean you couldn't remember saying that you were 'done' with the Browns two days after the fact, how are you going to remember your posting history?vball10set;1507309 wrote:That's funny, I thought since you have such a steel trap for a memory, you'd be able to get a hold of these alleged "opinions" without any trouble. This is wrong. First, KG maybe played two drives the second half of the Cal game (only because the kid from Glenville was hurt). Secondly, I dont think OSU even threw a pass the second half.ccrunner609;1507318 wrote:KG only threw 9 passes in the 2nd half of the Cal game. BM had a legit star running the ball. -

No. Not at all. Kg has improved in this area but he is nowhere near as good a down field passer as miller. Its not even close. If he has to put much air on it,it usually means it'll be under thrown a bit. But at the same time his intermediate throws are money. Whereas beacon has struggles in those areas.ccrunner609;1507282 wrote:but you have to remember, KG blew out those teams and we basically ran the ball the rest of the game. So you are saying that KG's yards per attempt should be even lower?ccrunner609;1507318 wrote:KG only threw 9 passes in the 2nd half of the Cal game. BM had a legit star running the ball. -

Famu not cal. And no OSU did not attempt a pass in the second half. But my god they did go for it on 4th down.Pick6;1507323 wrote:This is wrong. Gution has thrown 2 DEEP balls. One was picked off. The other was perfect against cal. The throw in the end zone. The 90 yard TD was not a deep ball. That was a 30-40 yard catch and run. Guiton himself has talked about it being his weak spot and that he's continually working on it. Braxton's best throws as a buckeye have been the deep ball.ccrunner609;1507332 wrote:you guys are delusional. BM is not a good passer down field. He has a very subpar passing %. It was either that or kick a field goal and add more points--it was a "no win" situation for Meyer.Midstate01;1507328 wrote:Famu not cal. And no OSU did not attempt a pass in the second half. But my god they did go for it on 4th down. -

se-alum58% completion percentage pretty much shows that Braxton can sling it all over the field. Luck and RGIII were only around 67%.
Look, Braxton is an electric runner, and a QB that can win games. Let's not act like he's anything more than an average passer though, at this point. Raise your hand if you think George Whitfield is going to say anything to put down someone that is paying him money to work with him.
Braxton is our best chance to win a NCG, but it's not because of his arm. -
0311sdpKG throws a floater, if he played regularly against top competition he would throw far more interceptions than Miller and his completion percentage would be much lower than it is. He does however make good decisions as to where to throw the ball and on the read option. We're lucky to have both of them but Braxton is the far better QB.

Dan GilbertKenny Guiton is a great BACKUP Quarterback. Don't get me wrong, he has played great while filling in for Miller but reality is that he played Purdue, Cal and FAMU. The talent level kicks up starting this week and I'd rather have the man in the #5 jersey behind center.
There is a reason Braxton Miller came in as a freshman and took the starting job. There is a reason Braxton continues to hold that title, even though Guiton has been here for 5 years. There is a reason Braxton was voted as the 5th best player in college football last season.
Miller has superior athleticism and the ability to make plays consistently with his arm and legs. He is currently the only QB on the roster that can lead us to the NCG. -
Dan GilbertBTW, I honestly think OSU wins by 2+ scores.
NW game scares me though. -

TiernanWhen you all see KG and Braxton at some point in the line-up together...I better be getting a dozen PMs saying "Tiernan I bow down to you, you are indeed a CFB genius".
