If KG played the whole season his stats would be better then BM.
    Just stop cc

One same opponent, a year and a coaching staff apart. You are really derping hard tonight. KG would have less total yards, less total TD. Miller throws a better deep ball and has a much better mid range ball. Miller also is more adept at going deep into his progressions where kg is getting 1 and 2 read looks against really shitty defenses.

Also, even mentioning the absence of Hyde is retarded. We still ran at will.

Miller has Reggie Bush-like moves running the ball, Guiton isn't even close in that regard.
  • LJ
Miller was 8 yards per attempt last year. Guiton is 6.9 yards per attempt this year. Case closed.

I hate agreeing with LJ Wikipedia on anything but in this case mr. Knowitall is absolutely correct. Braxton has not been able to show us what all he learned from the QB Whisperer. My gut tells me from the short exposure we saw vs Buffalo is Miller will dazzle once he gets some regular rhythm.

He has a better arm and can run the read option actually

dont really get why we are trying to downplay Guiton. I dont care if he has tore up against bad defenses. He is fucking good. Would have lost to Purdue last year without him. Just imagine if we had that fuck Bauserman back there.

And before anyone says it, I'm not saying Guiton should play over Braxton if Braxton is ready to go.

    No ones downplaying guiton.

No one is saying we'd rather have bauserman.

cc continues to be unimpressive with his football knowledge...Jesus H

Brax will be back and do just fine. My only concern is that he will try to do too much and make mistakes, which he'll be jumped on by most and the call for Kenny G will go out heavy. Of course lost in all of it will be that Miller will be going against better competition which won't mean shit to those who don't think for themselves but Miller will be fine.

I see a few people downplaying his performances.

And I never stated anyone said they'd rather have Bauserman.

Also, nice of LJ to leave out the fact that Buffalo has the second to worst defense in D1..but Khalil Mack!

I LOVE these uniforms. They could wear them permanently and I would love it.

Oh sorry. KG has played 2 games against bottom 20 defenses and 1 quarter against another bottom 20 defense.

I love the jersey, but like someone else said, not a fan of the helmet.

I don't pay attention to your posts, I was talking about cc.

It would be neat to see what he would do against a real defense just so there would be a comparison, but Braxton is the starter. It's his until he loses it based on performance, not because of injury.

Ytown is right, if Miller struggles, the ccrunners will be out in full force calling for Kenny.

Against 6 top 50 passing Defenses last year, Braxton threw for 961 yards, 6tds, 2 INT, for 57%

He also rushed for 634 yards, 4 TD against those same teams (who were all top 55 in total D)

    Total 1595 yards, 10 TD
  • LJ
Just to make it even I cut Braxton's totals in half against the top 55 defenses

Braxton 317 rush yards 2 rush tds 480 pass yards 57% 3 pass tds 797 total yards, 5 td 1 int

Guiton against bottom 20 defenses 180 rush yards 643 pass yards, 12 td 2 int 67% 823 total yards 13 total TD

If Braxton can do basically the same against top defenses, it's laughable to think that his stats would not have been the same or better than Guiton's in these laugher games

If my memory serves me correct CCrunner was calling for Braxton's head two or three games into last season as well.

It doesn't really matter. In a month he will put on his Dook hat and talk about how much he hates Ohio State

You can't possibly really believe that. To compare Braxton Miller with Kenny Guiton is like comparing Peyton Manning to Brian Hoyer. Braxton is an elite talent that you have to put in a special game plan to stop whereas KG is an average to maybe slightly above average QB who has done a great job in a backup role against terrible competition.

Indeed. Does seem like James White has been there forever, and yes he is pretty good.

lol, so true, while being completely wrong with 97.5% of what he says there, just like here.
