    Let's look at what actually happened. A reporter who is connected to the family of the alleged victim saw the reports coming out that she made up that Hyde hit her and feels the need to get involved and put her own spin on the siutation in order to help the family save face.

    If you've watched her "reporting" for 5 minutes (with her Marge Schott voice), it's pretty obvious that she's not exactly a Woodward or Bernstein.

    I will say that her being one of the biggest tOSU knob-polishers in the Columbus media (which is saying a lot) tends to aid her credibility in this case.

    If there was a real assault and battery the CPD would have some sort of evidence. I'm not stating that Hyde is a saint, or shouldn't be punished. I don't know. But typically in these situations there is a helluva lot more evidence involved, and the complainant doesn't go on vacation.

    Listen up dillweeds...none of you has a greater desire than I do to see Carlos walk on this one. But my spidey senses are tingling and telling me Drayer has seen taped evidence (how she did it..who knows maybe she blew the Chief...doesn't matter) but she saw it and it doesn't look good for Hyde.

    Bishop and Rothman just had an ex cop call in and basically say that if she did in fact hit him first, the case(if any) will most likely be dropped. Because Hyde would then in turn press charges against her.

    My initial reaction was the same (Assuming that he swung after she did). And the older "never hit a woman" mentality would dictate the same. But I've always been opposed to the idea that women can go around and hit men and expect no retribution, it just doesn't make any sense. And it's not necessarily a woman thing, I am opposed to physical violence to solve anything (not that I haven't been in a fight, but I've never instigated), but once someone starts in at you, you are completely fine to defend yourself.

    I've never been hit by a woman so I really don't know how I'd react. I'm hoping if anything I'd just try to restrain any incoming blows instead of striking back.

    I agree with this. I would never strike a woman first, but I cannot say that I wouldn't defend myself in particular situations. A slap at the bar (like the Hyde situation)? I wouldn't retaliate. But if a woman is coming after me attempting to substantially hurt me, and I feel like I legitimately need to fight back, I would.

    This is what I said earlier. Plus she said he turns around and starts to walk away and she swings at him. He then turns around and slaps her. If she didn't make contact,how would he know she swung at him.

    I'm telling you. There is something strange. She seems to be a Kathie Lee and Hoda like personality on the weekends, yet she magically gets her hands on highly a sought after video. Nobody seems to find this important, but she graduated high school the victim's father. Until I get an explanation, I am calling into question her credibility and journalistic integrity. Even if 100% accurate, there seems to seems questionable.

    It doesn't matter if he is a college football player or a college nerd. Give her no rights to hit you. And when someone hits you, by law you can hit them back doesn't matter what gender you are.
    Is it right to hit a female no, but I'm going to say no charges are filed and Carlos will be a Buckeye and be suspended for a couple of games.
