goosebumpsGood thing Urban Meyer knows how to punish his players, I don't expect any other players to get into trouble over the next 3 or 4 years. Does anyone know if Hyde was invited to Urbans prayer groups? I know his bible study sessions have kept his players clean in the past.

I'm not sure a UC fan would know anything about a 3-4 year plan for a coach? -

For the lightning round, What do the following players have in common?
Chris Rainey, Solomon Patton, Matt Elam, Frankie Hammond Jr., Gary Brown, Carlos Dunlap, Janoris Jenkins, Marquis Hannah, Carl Johnson, Riley Cooper, Cam Newton, Jacques Rickerson, Torrey Davis, Jamar Honsby, Jermaine Cunningham, Tony Joiner, Ronnie Wilson, Dustin Doe, Dorian Monroe, John Curtis, Brandon James, Avery Atkins, Louis Murphy, John Demps, Dawayne Grace, Carlos Hyde, and Bradley Roby.
Ohio State Fans bitched and moaned all the time about Urban Meyer and his arrest Record at Florida. OSU should have known what they were getting. I guess winning cures all ills though, but will Urban win a national title or a Fulmer cup first? -

How many coaches will UC go through before Meyer leaves? How many NC will Meyer win before UC wins a BCS bowl? How many BCS bowls will OSU win before UC gets into a big boy conference? -

No matter what his answers are, they will be speculation.LJ;1477011 wrote:How many coaches will UC go through before Meyer leaves? How many NC will Meyer win before UC wins a BCS bowl? How many BCS bowls will OSU win before UC gets into a big boy conference? -

Tuberville will be here awhile (as long as he wins), and the answer to all the other questions is at most 1, and I'd be willing to bet on it.LJ;1477011 wrote:How many coaches will UC go through before Meyer leaves? But is 10 tuberville wins worth the same as 2 big ten wins? -

lol, like Cinci would ever fire a coach if they don't win...they could give a fuck :rolleyes:goosebumps;1477025 wrote:Tuberville will be here awhile (as long as he wins), and the answer to all the other questions is at most 1, and I'd be willing to bet on it. -

Fired Rick Minter after a 7-5 year for the Big East tradition. Definitely not the Cincinnati of the 90's.vball10set;1477058 wrote:lol, like Cinci would ever fire a coach if they don't win...they could give a ****
And I guess we'll find out if Big east wins are worth Big Ten wins. We open with 2 Big Ten opponents. (Mind you they're terrible, Purdue and Illinois, but Purdue for whatever reason has been playing OSU pretty tough the last few years.)
I'm done derailing the thread, I'll start a UC thread closer to the start of the season and everyone can get their Rocks off breaking them down then. -
SportsAndLadyLove how goosegumps blatantly trolls OSU an OSU thread..then QQ's about the future UC thread being trolled.

LOL. Funny how your tune has changed. You were at one time advocating keeping Fickell over Meyer.LJ;1477011 wrote:How many coaches will UC go through before Meyer leaves? Eh, I was being pretty tongue in cheek, I don't really care what an OSU fan has to say about my school, I know we play clean and have had some pretty good success over the last 7 to 8 years.
On a serious note, How are the back up RB's for OSU? My understanding was that Hyde was your bruiser, Do any of the freshman coming in have the ability to play immediately? or will you guys be thin? UC lost a pretty promising RB 2 years ago (Akise Teague) when he got arrested for breaking into dorm rooms. Such a waste of talent.
Also is Hyde Talented enough to play on Sundays? Do you think he'll try to play his last year of eligibility somewhere or will he try to go pro? -

Never cared about the amount of players arrested under Urban at Florida, but I did question the punishments handed out for some of those arrests(Ronnie Wilson), and will do so if the same soft punishments are handed out to the OSU players, which I doubt will be the case.goosebumps;1477001 wrote:For the lightning round, What do the following players have in common?

RB was the probably the only position OSU could afford to lose someone. They have Hall, Smith, Dunn, Ball, and incoming Frosh Ezekiel Elliot.goosebumps;1477213 wrote:You gotta pay the troll toll to get into this boyssoul.

They always seem to be pretty deep at RB. I haven't followed them very closely for a few years, but they've traditionally been kind of a Reloading vs. Rebuilding team at that position.se-alum;1477217 wrote:RB was the probably the only position OSU could afford to lose someone. What tune has changed? I never denied the success Meyer would have and I still think he stays 5-7 years. I was advocating a long term coach over Meyer, only for the tenure.Pick6;1477193 wrote:LOL. Funny how your tune has changed. You were at one time advocating keeping Fickell over Meyer. -
Coach_08believer, that is good stuff. I have always thought he was a dirt bag. I understand college coaches are under a lot of pressure to win, but it looks like Urban has created a monster and I am not sure how he is going to stop this down hill train!

Everyone has an opinion, but when all is said and done, THE OSU is still the #1 team in the Great State of Ohio. Deal with it.believer;1477247 wrote:http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/urban-meyers-ohio-state-carlos-hyde-bradley-roby-in-trouble-072213
