gorocks99Michigan embarrassing Florida early
-
Ironman92Michigan's bench is making some poor decisions. I'd left all starters in and went for the bury.
-
ironman02Michigan is making Florida look silly.
Hopefully this ends up being a competitive game, but the chances of that appear slim right now. -
ironman02Stauskus is in the zone. This is nuts.
-
gorocks99Stauskas is on FIRE
-
Ironman92Retarded to get anywhere near a foul there.
-
SportsAndLadyFuck Michigan
-
ironman02Stauskas with 19 at the half. Michigan must be a team of destiny or something.
-
reclegend22I thought Ohio State hitting two consecutive game winners made them a team of destiny, so I wouldn't too much stock in that. If any team had the magic going for them, it was OSU. Syracuse will beat Michigan. I think that will be the game that McGary struggles and that will be it.
-
reclegend22I take back my last comment. Michigan is pretty well-rounded offensively on the perimeter, but I think they will need some inside play against Syracuse and I think the Orange will be able to negate it.
-
Ironman92Syracuse is a tough matchup for everyone....but offensively Michigan has 5 guys that are really getting it done.
The NCAA however would love to have two Big East teams or Duke vs Cuse (#1 and #2 winningest coaches....Olympic coaches) -

why shouldnt IU fans be upset, but Michigan needs a final 4 to feel good about their season????!Laley23;1417458 wrote:As far as the B1G goes...OSU and IU are kind of in the same boat as the season ends on both teams, for different reasons. I dont think either fan base should be upset about the way anything went down. Fantastic seasons for both.
I think Michigan needs a FF to feel good about their season, MSU had an about average season and Wisconsin is probably feeling very upset with themselves.
No one else was ever expecting to do anything this season. -
Azubuike24IU can't be upset? Are you kidding? This was their best shot at a title, maybe EVER, under Crean. They were the favorites to win it all year...
I think OSU (and Michigan) in the Elite Eight, was just about where they should've been. Top 10 teams, but anything further would be icing. -
Ironman92No excuse for Florida not playing with this intensity in the first 1/2

MulvaMurphy has been horrible.

reclegend22With all of the pre-season hype that surrounded Indiana and pre-season PTOY Cody Zeller, I would have to think that the season definitely didn't at all live up to the expectations. I understand the struggles the team had to endure during the rebuilding job, but I don't think that is an excuse for how much talent was on this year's Hoosier team. Anything short of a Final Four for this Indiana team has to be considered coming up short. IMO.
-
Ironman92That was sweet by Albrecht
-
reclegend22To just zero in on Cody Zeller, is he the most underwhelming pre-season NPOTY ever? I can't think of another one off the top of my head. He was soft, and I know about soft having felt like I've seen Mason Plumlee play basketball since he was 4 years old.

SportsAndLadyIf this wasn't a disappointment for IU, they've really fallen from their blue bloods status.
You could argue they were one of.the biggest disappointments pf the tourney. -
Azubuike24...and don't get me wrong. It HURTS to lose in the Elite 8. Kentucky has crushed me many, many times with Elite 8 losses (02-03 to Marquette, 04-05 to Michigan State, 09-10 to West Virginia). Knowing you are one fluke game, or even a few plays from a Final Four stings. With that said, I'd much rather lose Elite Eight games than have the preseason #1 team and not even get there.
Don't get me wrong either. OSU fans should be upset they lost to a 9-seed. Can you ask for a bracket to open up any easier for a team? Still, they had a shot. IU has a team with 3 first round picks and 2 guys who will finish in the top 5-10 for NPOY, in a year where the overall talent was somewhat down and there were no incredible teams. If I were an IU fan this year, I'd be salty.
When it was all said and done, Indiana did NOTHING to improve on last year's season, which was somewhat of a surprise nationally. They lost by the exact same amount, in the exact same round. This year, they went 29-7, last year they finished 27-9... -

You would think they learned something from watching osu sleepwalk for 30 min -
killer_ewokI have to agree about Indiana. They should be disappointed missing out on the Final Four.

I miss Bobby Knight post game conferences. -

The worst part is...OSU played in the Final Four the year before, and were the #1 overall seed the year previous. Florida had been to back to back Elite Eights. Both teams have nearly an entire team who was part of those squads.wes_mantooth;1417515 wrote:You would think they learned something from watching osu sleepwalk for 30 min
Inexcusible to not come out and go balls to the wall for 40 minutes. Michigan, amazingly, got away with it against KU and won. However, against VCU and FLA, they came out blazing.
