Pitino will make sure it's noted on the broadcast multiple times, just in case his team doesn't play well, or *gasp*, loses. It will be the best "flu-infested" team he's ever coached.
Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see a montage of MJ in Game 5 against the Jazz if Russ Smith is able to hobble to a couple of points early. There are rumors that he's starting the game on crutches, too weak to properly balance.

While I think Louisville wins, it is funny at how uneducated these announcers really are about both of these teams. They act like Duke is a Cinderella with a slipper of a chance. Kenny Smith just said that there is no way that Duke can contain Russ Smith on the perimeter. Is that why Russ shot 7-of-19 from the floor and 1-of-4 from three against Duke earlier in the year? Rasheed Sulaimon did a hell of a job on Smith, getting up on him and making him work. He still got 17, but they were earned and got some from the line. His shooting game was completely ineffective.

Fuck. Knew Michigan would win but didn't think it would be a beatdown. Now I'm even more sad about last night.

    Duke getting calls already

You are 100% right. The only variable on officiating is free throw attempts.
  • dlazz
    Well, THATS broken.
  • gorocks99
His leg snapped in half. Damn.
  • Mulva
    That was awful.

That's hard to watch on many levels. The injury and the team breaking down.

Holy shit. That was sick. Stomach churned just looking at that replay.

I'm really glad I did not look up. Sounds pretty bad. I bet Rick is sad or maybe even mad.

He very well could lose his leg. That as the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

Bone clearly broke the skin. You've been warned.

Add that to Tim Kumrie and Joe Theisman.

I found a still jpg of it and it sure looked like at least 4-5 inches were out.

    609 commonly exaggerates six inches.

    You absolutely can.

It's official. Seth Curry can't be called for traveling. Just can't.

This game is wearing me out.

I hope that Louisville player recovers. I watched Krumrie and Theisman and that was infinitely worse.
