I hate that Michigan pick. I doubt that is more than a 5pt game, and it could be S. Dakota on the winning end pretty easily.Classyposter58;1410162 wrote:The bets I made for Thursday ($15 a piece)
Michigan (-11) over SDSU
Colorado State (+3) over Mizzou
VCU (-7.5) over Akron -

This. I am amazed that the spread -11. I haven't even really checked those either. Thanks for posting Classy... Just put down 50 on SDSU +11 and 10 on them straight up haha.Laley23;1410165 wrote:I hate that Michigan pick. I doubt that is more than a 5pt game, and it could be S. Also LIU needs to start playing better! Really want them to win this game. -

lol, who else has an LIU player? You two really need them, cause versus IU they will lose by maybe 30, but they will put up 70 haha.Iliketurtles;1410183 wrote:This. I am amazed that the spread -11. Terry Tate does haha... And I don't care about the player pickem (will I do) but I got 10 bucks on them straight up and a 5 dollar parlay with them -2 and the over of 146!!Laley23;1410187 wrote:lol, who else has an LIU player? Terry_TateJust saw the LIU Brooklyn score, they better get their shit together.
-
MulvaWhat a close by LIU.

They fucking did and CJ almost got you a 3 at the buzzer. My guy is in god damn foul trouble is has played so bad in the first half. That was a great end to the half for LIU though really started playing better once Olasewere went out lol.Terry_Tate;1410214 wrote:Just saw the LIU Brooklyn score, they better get their shit together. -

reclegend22My LaSalle pick from the Early Predictions thread is looking nice. The Explorers will win this game and then they will beat K-State.

No they wont, and no they wont.reclegend22;1410389 wrote:My LaSalle pick from the Early Predictions thread is looking nice. The Explorers will win this game and then they will beat K-State.
Mostly cause I have McGruder in the pick-em, and thus went from having Boise beat them to having K-State in my Elite 8 lol
Fucking gambling... -
reclegend22We will see, but your boy Bo Ryan will outcoach Bruce Weber all day long. The Badgers are going deep IMO. Better just go ahead and auto-tune to a different channel during their games lol.

Yes they will! Lets go LaSalle! Lets go Tyrone Garland ! Also thank you LaSalle for ensuring that I will make money tonight.Laley23;1410393 wrote:No they wont, and no they wont.

Yap yap yap. Ive heard it all before with Bo. When he finally wins in March, Ill take notice on the following years brackets.reclegend22;1410399 wrote:We will see, but your boy Bo Ryan will outcoach Bruce Weber all day long. Brucie is terrible, imo, but when he has another coaches players...well...we all know what happened last time lol. -
reclegend22
Bo Ryan does have five Sweet 16s (including two straight now) and an Elite Eight. For having only one McDonald's All-American during his career at Wisconsin (Brian Butch), that's pretty impressive. As you've stated before, who wants to go play at the North Pole?Laley23;1410420 wrote:Yap yap yap. Ive heard it all before with Bo. LaSalle, meanwhile, drumming Boise State. The Explorers are for real. -
reclegend22Personally, I think you are way off base in giving Bo Ryan pretty much no respect for the program he has built in Madison. I'm sure you respect what he's done to a degree, but he deserves more than what you give him IMO.

Azubuike24I wouldn't crown La Salle as an easy win yet. They can't miss...

Well, like Iowa State, that's their game. When they are hitting and spacing the floor for their driving game, LaSalle is a team that can pull off an upset or two. If they don't win, it's no big deal because I simply will pick K-State to win one game before being bounced by Wisconsin. But if the Explorers do win, then I think they give K-State all it wants. Again, that's predicated on whether or not they are hitting their threes.Azubuike24;1410466 wrote:I wouldn't crown La Salle as an easy win yet. They can't miss... -

I think he has done great, but they have limitations...like March.reclegend22;1410456 wrote:Bo Ryan does have five Sweet 16s (including two straight now) and an Elite Eight. When have they done better than what their seed says? I mean, a S16 this year is expected. He has been a 2 seed many times. Those numbers you lay out arent that impressive when you factor in he is top 4 in the B1G in each of those seasons. -
reclegend22
Wisconsin was a six seed when it went to the Elite Eight in 2005, and then proceeded to take one of the best teams of the past 20 years to the final minutes (eventual national champion North Carolina). Like Nolan Richardson at Arkansas in the '90s (albeit implementing completely opposite styles of play), the greatness of Bo Ryan is that he forces your team to play his way no matter what. If you can beat them playing that way, then congratulations. But you are going to work for it.Laley23;1410476 wrote:I think he has done great, but they have limitations...like March.

thats true. But his other postseasons upsets trump the 1 run, imo.reclegend22;1410502 wrote:Wisconsin was a six seed when it went to the Elite Eight in 2005, and then proceeded to take one of the best teams of the past 20 years to the final minutes (eventual national champion North Carolina). For as good as they are in the regular season, and the seeds they get, the constantly disappoint.
Also, fuck Boise and Derrick Marks. Couldnt even get your average in the 1 fucking game your gonna play in. -
reclegend22I stand behind my prediction that the A10 might be the best represented conference in the tournament (aside from whatever big-conference team inevitably wins the title) when it's all said and done. LaSalle, VCU, Butler, Temple and Saint Louis are going to all be extremely tough outs. I look for Saint Louis to either reach or come within seconds of reaching Atlanta.

Ironman92Not over quite yet.

Even if they lose, would it not be a true statement that La Salle is a tough out? Boise is a decent team.Ironman92;1410529 wrote:Not over quite yet.
The Atlantic 10 is so damn good. And La Salle isn't even a team that contended for the conference title.
