OSU fans debate that, I have never ever seen any fan outside of OSU consider him one of the best PGs.
And hell I like the guy, I think he's damn good. But come on lol

I'm not on the Aaron Craft is "all world" bandwagon, but if you can think of 20 pgs better than him....I'd like to hear it. Time to fire up the Google search.Hb31187;1068522 wrote:One of the best defenders id def agree with. One of the top pgs? LOL. Top what? 20 maybe? -

Exactly. Im not trying to rip anyone here. It just gets frustrating when the debate is always between you and the coaches opinion, not the posters. What do YOU see in Scott. Who would YOU rather have as the back-up. I dont give a shit what Matta thinks, he isnt here to debate me!!!!SportsAndLady;1068526 wrote:...

Well EP was a dumbass and couldn't get into OSUAutomatik;1068518 wrote:It's not a cop out....just a dumbass argument. Like saying Tressel regrets not offering Eric Page.
But it's not ridiculous to think coaches say to themselves "man I wish I would have offered _______"
I'm not saying they make a huge deal out of it, but it's certainly stupid to think Matta's sitting there going "I'm glad I have Scott behind Craft, and not Burke" He definitely would go back and offer Burke. -

I would rather have Scott, and why would anyone want to debate YOU? You're an Indiana fan!!Laley23;1068532 wrote:Exactly. Im not trying to rip anyone here. 20 no, probably not. PGs that would fit OSU and make them significantly better, less than 5 imo. But fitting his team (OSU) doesnt make him a great PG. Jordan Hulls fits IU very well, especially next year. But he is like the 8th best PG in the B1G imo. Yet, Id only take maybe 3 over him for IU (Burke, Appling and Frazier).Automatik;1068528 wrote:I'm not on the Aaron Craft is "all world" bandwagon, but if you can think of 20 pgs better than him....I'd like to hear it. First, show me something, ANYTHING, that shows Eric Page couldn't get into OSU, and secondly, how in the fuck do you know what Matta would do?SportsAndLady;1068534 wrote:Well EP was a dumbass and couldn't get into OSU

Yes. thats true. IU isnt good for 4 years, so we all know Im basketball illiterate /non'dvball10set;1068535 wrote:I would rather have Scott, and why would anyone want to debate YOU? You're an Indiana fan!!
But, I guess my question is, what do you see in Scott that you like more than Burke?
For me, OSU could use a better 3pt shooter and a guy who can create his own shot/penetrate more. Another scoring option off the bench. Scott doesnt really provide that, Burke would. I think they would be a much better team with that kind of production coming off the bench (maybe like 7 ppg, but could go off for 15+) as opposed to Scotts production.
So I just ask, WHAT about Scott make this team better than say, Burke would in a hypothetical situation where they had the same role (back up G position). -

Those are mostly preseason rankings, he hasn't had the year to this date to put him in the top 2 PGs conversation. Where is anyone right now saying Aaron Craft is THE best PG in the country?vball10set;1068527 wrote:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1023183-10-best-point-guards-in-college-basketball#/articles/1023183-10-best-point-guards-in-college-basketball/page/6

Well, its off the record for me to say it. But a staff member...lets say, someone who recruit(ed) for UT, told a group of us that he was glad E-P had poor test scores early on.vball10set;1068537 wrote:First, show me something, ANYTHING, that shows Eric Page couldn't get into OSU, and secondly, how in the fuck do you know what Matta would do? -

So if Burke has a better game than Scott tomorrow, will you change your mind? LOLvball10set;1068535 wrote:I would rather have Scott -
vball10set
Where is it stated anywhere on here that he is THE best? My argument here is that I don't believe Matta has any regrets on who he recruited, offered, and signed. I don't think Burke would be playing ahead of Craft if he was at OSU, so he's where he should be. Anything else?SportsAndLady;1068542 wrote:Those are mostly preseason rankings, he hasn't had the year to this date to put him in the top 2 PGs conversation. AutomatikIf OSU was struggling at the PG position I could understand this current argument, but they aren't. So IMO....this is stupid.
Let's just talk about how OSU is going to beat that Skunkweasel ass tomorrow. -

Eric Page wasn't going to qualify academically, that was pretty common knowledge when he was in the recruiting stage. His high school team had a tackle go to Nebraska and was looked at by Tressel, so I'm sure they saw Eric Page too.vball10set;1068537 wrote:First, show me something, ANYTHING, that shows Eric Page couldn't get into OSU, and secondly, how in the fuck do you know what Matta would do?
If Matta was logical, I'm sure he would take Burke over Scott right now lol are you getting upset that I'm saying what Matta thinks? Are you that defensive? -

Are you banging your head on the wall at your own logic?vball10set;1068550 wrote:
You're the one who said you're going to judge who is the better player (burke vs craft) off this game tomorrow...so you're going to do the same w/ Burke and Scott, right? -

AutomatikFor the record. I had no idea about Eric Page and his recruiting situation. It just popped into my head because I can remember after the UT game a few people were saying "OMG why didn't OSU offer this guy."
