    lol...reps

Ed Warriner is a Strasburg, OH native and MUC grad. Didn't read the articles listed, but I think he was the OC at Kansas under Mangino. Should be a very good hire.
  • Doverbuck
Warriner should make a great line coach,he learned from Ron Hurst and Hurst was always able to have great lines with minimal talent or size, but they had great technique. Great hire IMHO

Good, the possible negative consequences outweigh the benefit of them having Twitter.

I agree. I read somewhere that Meyer loves special teams. He definitely has his work cut out for him. I believe those Gators that blocked the punt or returned it, and ran back the kickoff were both recruits of UM. Hopefully he can work his magic @ OSU.

Yes. Even Notre Dame coaches deserve the honor of learning how to win at the only place in the universe where that truly can be taught.

    The twitter thing isn't true.

So it was an elaborate joke by the players by saying "bye" on twitter?
  • hoops23
Like I said, Twitter ban is not true.

    Jim Naveau @Lima_Naveau
Reid Fragel says reports of Twitter ban not exactly true and Bradley Roby says Urban Meyer never said Ohio State players can't have Twitter.

Coach didn't tell us this morning that twitter is banned guess the media likes to make up things. #GoBucks!

    Reid Fragel @Fragel88 Close
Haha sorry for the confusion, sometimes people decide to put words in others mouths... That's all I have to say about that

    Fragels tweets make no sense.

It's in order from bottom to top...

He first said he just found out that the twitter thing wasn't true... then he apologized for the confusion..

sounds like he was relayed the info about the Twitter "banishment" from another person.
  • se-alum
Well, Jordan Hall and Verlon Reed should both be banned from Twitter anyway.

Sounds like he wasn't a part of whatever meeting or whatever happened today.

Yea, that's what I was getting at. Either Meyer said it or he didn't, how could there be confusion?
  • wildcats20
Maybe it was a "hey it'd be best if you didn't have a twitter account" or some vague shit like that.

But yeah, there is definitely something weird about it all.

That's what I'm guessing. A bunch of guys said "bye" on twitter almost right away, then later in the day a bunch of other guys said "lol not true"

Fragel, Stoney, Evan Spencer and Carlos Hyde were the most notable to say "bye" right away.

Everyone was present at the meeting, even T.Y. and Rod Smith

Berry was not. And someone else slept in.

I don't consider Berry part of the team
  • jordo212000
I can't believe Berry would not want to stick around. His skillset really fits an Urban Meyer offense
  • ytownfootball
I'm not sure "want" has anything to do with it.

Maybe it's not skill, but attitude. Maybe his is a bad one.....Let him go.

Yea, highly doubt Berry has a say in the matter at this point.
