Buckeyes Approach Urban Meyer
-
OneBuckeyeAs he should be. Jake Ballard is an athletic freak we never utilized. Stoney is almost the same. Ubran utilized well and they got drafted and didn't have to do it like Ballard did.
-
bases_loadedAye, just meant its good he's excited and hopefully means he'll be back
-
OneBuckeyeWith the lack of highlight tape available for our offense I doubt anyone will leave early, but that is a good indication he will be back and is good to hear. I am only worried about John Simon coming back. His personallity and Urban's personallity should go together well. Other than that we don't have anyone that will go in the first 3 rounds that are eliglible to leave.
-
bases_loadedBasketball guys get drafted to be TEs, Stoney would be a 3rd or 4th rounder at worst next year.
-
OneBuckeyeWord on twitter is Fickell will coach bowl game and Urban will focus on recruiting.
-
zach24ozI think I like that move. Go ahead and let Fickell coach his last game as a head coach and with his seniors and let Urban hit the recruting trail and work the phones. Any word on who is going to be the OC?

mallymal614About 5 years ago you can say Urban was mosted hated by Buckeye fans and loved by Gators. Now in 2011 he is loved by Buckeyes and hated by Gators lol.

I think it's mainly used as a figurative term, not a literal one :thumbup:Big Gain;991613 wrote:Only the immature HATE players coaches or teams. -

After Meyer left Florida he found out his health issues weren't heart related, they were sever indigestion issues.chicago510;991340 wrote:While I agree with the health issues farce, Pat Forde of all people (just moved from ESPN to Yahoo!) should know better than most that $ and a dream job opportunity talk. Somewhat hypocritical of him to call out a guy for taking his dream job. -

His draft stock should should make a significant improvement after one year in Meyer's offense.bases_loaded;991484 wrote:Stoneburner is pretty pumped about Urb coming. -

Actual physical problems (like esophageal issues) and anxiety aren't mutually exclusive. I'm absolutely sure that most people on here who ever experienced a severe esophageal spasm might easily assume it's a heart attack and have anxiety problems, at least for a short time after.LJ;991635 wrote:Lol what? I saw my father go through something similar, and the doctors said it wasn't uncommon for that fear to take control for a while. Usually with time and some mild meds, it goes away. -

The anxiety proceeded everything from what Bruce said (had dinner with Meyer the night before the Alabama game). Indigestion may have been why he went to the hospital, but he retired due to anxiety. -
se-alum6 years @ 24 million. Big drop from the rumored contract.
