I've basically been seeing the same timeline on Twitter all evening. Press conference will be in the 6:00pm hour on Monday evening so that it can be covered live on SportsCenter.

So.. if Studwra was given the job because of Kragthorpe's illness this past year, logic would lead you to believe that the roles would be switched again next year. Especially after the season they have had. Not sure why you would hand the clipboard back to Kragthorpe, who was last seen driving the Louisville program into the ground.

The beginning of camp is when it happened. Like I said, that offense ia not a typical Studwra offense. If he took a job at OSU he could install the type of offense he wants to run

So Vrabel will not be sticking around?

yeah I know when it happened. Just saying Kragthorpe's condition is not going to improve, so I doubt that he will be taking over the reins again. I also think LSU would probably rather he not if Studwra is still around. I think going to Ohio State would be extremely lateral and unlikely. I could be wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

The LBs, thought to be the strength of the team did not look good this year. I don't know how much blame Vrabel should get, but I didn't come away from this year saying "you know what? Vrabel has these guys playing good ball!"

Shazier was the one bright spot and fans knew he could play, but for some reason the coaching staff subjected us to Storm Klein and his wooden leg all season. I have no idea what they saw in him / didn't see in Shazier. After a while, they couldn't keep him off the field.

Agreed. After this season I don't know if Vrabel is a good coach or not, but there is absolutely no evidence that he is a good coach. Most people work their way up to being a position coach at a major school like OSU. They don't just walk off of an NFL field and know how to coach on day one.

No, my allegiances aren't determined by a coach who could be gone in 3 years. Sorry, nice try.

I believe they just said that they are hoping for a 6:00pm press conference tomorrow, but that nothing has been confirmed yet because Meyer and the university are still working out the final details (non-monetary details) of his contract.

Pingalore reports that Meyer, who has begun lining up his staff, wants current Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith gone but university president E. Gordon Gee has balked at the request.

LOL. Watch Urban back out because Gee won't get rid of Smith.

I read somewhere else that the Buckeyes are actually going to hire Urban Meyer. He will make Miller a beast according to my source.
