I didn't say they were. I am saying I think his lack of understanding at the position and his lack of being able to correct his mechanics doesn't give him great knowledge to be a position coach.

As for whether he would be a good coach or not -- I'll go with the odds and say "not". I'm pretty sure Meyer can find a QB coach with a proven record of success to help him at OSU.

I don't talk to his wife on a daily basis. What would she say?

Generally that fixes the problem. What a dumb woman if this is true.

According to Joe's son Matt, who I just texted, Joe was the QB coach and Offensive Coordinator while at Pitt. He never coached running backs there. So yeah, he was Marino's coach. Which would also explain why Marino would call Joe after he had bad games while playing in the NFL.

His resume says rb coach everywhere on the net.

You should know by now to provide links. I looked online and on the OSU athletic site first and couldn't find anything, which is why I texted Matt.

Well I have no idea what you're looking at, but osubuckeyes.com is NOT an official OSU site. In fact, their home page still says that the Buckeyes next game is against Indiana. Are you not able to copy and paste a link on your phone?

His coaching resume, which spans 39 years, includes stints with Boston College, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, the Cleveland Browns, the Buffalo Bills, the New York Jets and the University of Cincinnati before he joined Tressel's staff in 2001. His pupils have included players such as all-time great Dan Marino and Smith, who captured the Heisman Trophy at Ohio State in 2006.

According to his bio on Coach Fickell's website he was running backs coach at Pitt in 1980-81, and QB coach and offensive coordinator from 1981-83, when Marino was the QB.

Uh, it's not full, it only copies a 1/4 of what I am trying to copy. Keep pretending you know what is going on with my phone. Thanks

Sorry, not pretending to know what's wrong, just misread your post. You said it was effing up and I thought you had said it was effing full. My bad.
