Its really a good concept chosen in this article. It really a great honour , which have been helped me to know more interesting concepts regarding the sports and their related issues involved in it.

Without seeing the stat line, I know Iona's stud post player Glover had a poor game because they kept mentioning how bad his conditioning was and wasn't playing well. He is also the MAAC pre-season player of the year. Had he been in better shape or was able to get more breaks, maybe a different outcome. You are right about Purdue missing a post player. Definitely no JaJuan Johnson lurking anywhere nearby.

Just checked their roster...Two players at 6-9 or taller and that's it.

And the 1 dude that I saw was a lanky goof.

As for Iona, that Glover guy was pretty bad. He had a stretch where he got some points, but he should have dominated. Really could only score on dump offs from the guards. I get why he was Preseason POY, but I think their PG or Momo Jones will run away with it.

Purdue up 34-30 at half on Temple. Hummel is playing well.

Purdue and Temple locked in a good one in San Juan. Purdue up 3, 49-46 at the under 12 timeout.

Referees have taken over in the 2nd half. Both teams were in the bonus at like 13 minute mark.

Was there more to that double T than both guys just flipping the ball to one another?

Because if that was it and there weren't words exchanged that's a weak way to get your 5th.
  • Heretic
Purdue was up by nine. It's now two with about four to play.

Drexel loses to Norfolk State. Absolutely terrible loss for the team a lot of experts expect to win the Colonial this year.

With George Mason losing to Florida International and Old Dominion getting killed by Northern Iowa already, bad start for the CAA.

Nope. Then the 5th foul on their center when he was boxing out Hummel on a FT lol.

Xavier holds off the Miami Redhawks 66-60. This one was close to being an upset tonight.

Akron falls to Valpo by 3, plays Duquesne tonight. Win against Miss St keeps looking better and better, though.

Kentucky up 47-15 against Penn State at halftime. Penn State is 1 for 22 from 3-point range...ouch.

Az, is this game on the internet anywhere? I don't see it on tv. I imagine it's on that Lincoln-Financial (?) station out of Ky.

So is this the year that Indiana finally "breaks through"?

How long will people keep giving Crean a pass and use that "we were under NCAA sanctions!" excuse?

    Watching it on ESPN3.
  • reclegend22
Ah, thanks. My carrier still doesn't provide ESPN3, I don't believe. Thanks, though.

    Found it on firstrowsports.tv.

Who used that excuse? The biggest excuse was in year 1 he had a whopping 1 player return to the program. And yes, they will compete for an NCAA bid this year. They are an NCST, ND, and Butler win away from being on the inside track for one entering B1G play.

EDIT: Found it. BC got drilled by Holy Cross 86-64 yesterday. Sheesh.

Nah didn't say you did, but I know of plenty of people who have. It's actually kind of laughable that they still use it. Matta came in under similar circumstances and turned the program around in one season.

Butler and Louisville in a good battle at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Butler up 5 early.

Cincinnati loses at home to Presbyterian.

The Fightin' Britney Spear(s)! ....Saw the score early and was surprised and then again when Cincy was up and thought they would run away with it. The Blue Hose win it with a buzzer beater or win it down the stretch?
  • sportswizuhrd
Holy fuck. I know the history of this team and the type of offense they run but still...DAMN. And in the first game of the year!
