It's not unfathomable like some want us to believe.

By the end of the year, you won't be questioning him though.

I literally have an erection about tomorrow's schedule.

    Kansas-UK
    Duke-MSU
    OSU-Florida

Thats a decent NCAA tournament night, let alone the first week of the season.

At passing. Hasn't proven he can score yet. But he may not have to.

Well the 1st of those games doesn't tip til 7 PM. May I suggest calling a doctor?

I would take Kendall Marshall over any other PG personally.

Yeah he's pretty damn good. Can score if needs to but is definitely a pass first PG.

    Notre Dame won by 6.

Yeah, need to lay off the Cialis. But my GF just loves laying in a bathtup next to my bathtub.

Don't think they'll be all that good. guards played well tonight but I'm not sure Cooley is gonna hold up in the Big East.
  • SportsAndLady
Not saying Marshall isn't good lol he's really good.

But I like scoring PGs over passing PGs

Is Washington State supposed to be any good this year? 24 hours of coverage on ESPN starts with them vs. Gonzaga at midnight.

Lol. I believe the medical term is priapism, and, yes, he should certainly have that checked out. It would not be normal in this situation.

As for Kendall Marshall, he's a very good point guard, and will probably become a great one by the time his career in Chapel Hill comes to a close. But, right now, I don't know if he's the best in the country. That wasn't my point anyhow with regard to my comment about Jay Bilas and Jay Williams pandering to UNC. As SportsAndLady said of Herbie's reputation around Columbus, it's been a long-standing tradition for a while for Bilas to pretend he never went to Duke. Williams actually is very vocal about his playing days for Coach K, but often joins in Bilas' overexuberant praise of the Tar Heels.

Kinda agree, usually. But for UNC, he is perfect.

Id take him over a pretty weak PG year in basketball. Holloway is maybe better, but playing for X its just not a fair evaluation. Dont care how many top teams they/he plays. The conference schedule allows him to have easy nights and get up for any big game he might have. I believe in him and think he is that good. But I cant say he is better than Marshall

Gonzaga going Don Maestri on the Cougars. The Zags have hit nine three-pointers in the first half, and there's still five minutes to play. Freshman Kevin Pangos, perhaps the next-in-line Dan Dickau or Blake Stepp type guy in Spokane, is five of seven from beyond the arc.

Gonzaga finishes half number one with 10 triples, six of which originated from frosh stud Kevin Pangos. A great shooting display for the Bulldogs. Washington State hanging around, though, down just 41 to 32 at the break.
  • reclegend22
Pangos starts off the second half with another one from deep. Seven treys now for the freshman in his debut. The single-game Gonzaga record for threes in a game is nine, set by former All-American Dan Dickau. An ok opener for Pangos.
  • reclegend22
Pangos with the eight-ball. One shy of Dickau's single-game mark of nine three-pointers. You may be asking why I care this much about Kevin Pangos at two in the morning and I just don't know.

I prefer the pass first point guard when a team has as much offense as UNC does, Marshal makes everyone around him better and finds players in the right spot just like a good pg should. Is he the best? I would like to think so but still a young season.
  • SportsAndLady
Agree that Marshall is the best PG for that team.

    That wasn't the question though
  • reclegend22
Pangos did in fact tie Dickau's record of nine threes in a game as Gonzaga escaped a furious Washington State rally in the final minutes. At times, though, the Bulldogs looked to be as good as they've been in quite a awhile.

Watch out for the Pangos kid, you will be hearing a lot more about him I have a feeling. Despite hitting nine triples, the most impressive part of his game wasn't his shooting. It was his ability to allow the game go effortlessly come to him and put guys like Sacre and Harris into position to score. A very heady point guard.

Pangos was awesome in the Nike Hoops Summit. Same with Kyle Wiltjer. He's going to be one of the best at Gonzaga.

Looks like its going to be a long year for Huggy Bear in WVU. Getting manhandled in the 2nd half by Kent State.
