I'm at work and only internet is on my phone. So, if anyone would like to pull up a video of Bo Pelini or Nick Saban....I'd appreciate it.

    K. Thanks.

Hadn't seen much tv this week since the games last weekend. Can not believe people are really still talking about this. I mean, it looked kind of goofy but the reaction is just as over the top.

[/URL]If this was Fickel or Hoke, about 90% of the people who are piling on would be defending it as trying to light a fire under their team's ass because of lackluster performance (we could debate the effectiveness of meltdowns as another discussion).

Make sure they post gif's of the blowups.

I posted the Saban video earlier on this thread. That one was even a little physical.

Yup. Only a big deal if you're a hater with an agenda.

Group OSU fans into that then. When RRod went apeshit and threw tantrums, OSU fans were quick to point it out.

Like I said, I expect the fans of the team to defend the coach. That is why you really only see ND fans defending this.

BTW, I didn't like RRod's antics on the sidelines either. For me, it has nothing to do with ND, but that does make it more fun. ;)

Eh, it was just discussed on the Herd as well. The consensus is that the whole thing is way over played and not a big deal. Joe Schadd basically laughed at the fact people were even discussing it. Those guys are NOT ND fans by any stretch.

It's simple, if you dont like ND, you'll use this to start meaningless arguments. Personally, I'd rather get back to discussing football.

Sure, it is overblown. But that is also due in part to ND fans defending it so hard. I'm over it. But I have to post this...

Nobody (OSU, Big 10, scUMmers, SEC...etc, etc) is saying coaches screaming on the sidelines is a bad thing...in fact I love it and I believe the Bucks now have a coach who can pull it off. BUT (and its a huge BUT) to pull off that kind of behavior effectively you have to be the type of coach that players actually have a little fear of. Kelly has no credibility with this type of shit. He's like a harmless little kid that is throwing a tantrum because somebody stole his shovel in the sandbox. The clock re-started big time on his 3 yrs and out after last week's embarrasing loss. No. 2 coming most likely this weekend.

I just thought of something ...maybe NDs players should fear the little tantrum boy though, afterall he's probly the only coach in college football that's actually killed somebody.

First it was just "show us." Now it has to be in the form of gif's. I think the videos will suffice.

GIF's don't make things any more or less true.

Also, Stephen A. Smith talked mad shit on ND on Monday but said that he had no problem with Brian Kelly's behavior on the sidelines during that game. Not saying he's the final word or right but another case of a non-ND fan saying it wasn't a big deal.

The GIF was made because of how embarrassing it was.

I'm not saying it was a bad thing, nor am I bashing him or ND for it..but it is pretty embarrassing how pissed off he got; hence, why he was joking about it..he knew he went a little over the top and decided to joke about it.

Still waiting for a few gif's or videos of other coaches reacting like that..we already acknowledged Pelini, and I guess Saban too. Got any more?

No one has a problem with it.
  • The Equalizer
If you want to find videos of every coach in the country being animated go fucking google it yourself. There are about a dozen D1 coaches with infamous tempers, maybe add one more now with Kelly. Most of them have had no trouble finding success so I'm willing to see what this season has in store.
  • Laley23
At least he didnt throw his gum and hit a recruit like Bill Lynch did at IU.

He made a joke of it because its a non issue. He was not embarrassed at all.

Anyone hear what Mike Golic, who happens to have two sons currently on the team, had to say about Kelly?
