People root for a wide variety of teams, especially in the media age we live in. The forums are titled "college football, college basketball, pro sports, etc..." While it's expected that naturally most of the fans will be supporters of Ohio-based teams, to say you have no clue why there are people with connections to other states is just stupid.
Give me a break with your arrogance. Its old at times. IF you read, you would see that I never stated "ALL". I said "some". If you want to take offense to that, or include yourself..that is your choice. But I can tell you, YOU and others, including Ewok were not part of my statement. -

Btw, I live in Ohio so whats the big deal about being on a Ohio board. This isnt bucknuts. Tell your 200 bucks fans to get off the LSU site.
And you are one of the MAIN reasons I cannot stand SEC and their arrogance. 200 OSU fans on LSU sight...fucking lie. So full of shit. You are another troll... -

Pretty immature to assume that I said "only". Obviously, you and others have a difficult time reading. Its comical to see how people lie and make shit up on here. One reason I am rarely on here anymore. -

Sorry asswipe, not going anywhere. Going to stay on here just to annoy you! -
thedynasty1998You said you have no idea why fans outside of OSU would join an Ohio message board. You act like this is a private club and everyone must share your viewpoint.
Most of the time you are a good poster, although a bit of a homer, but you've really started acting immature. -

cats gone wildCbf still is on that time of the month. You say you are rarely on here anymore because people lie. Go ahead and leave, no one will miss you. Take a hike and go to JJ or bucknuts. And yes there are tons of OSU posters on the LSU site (and Im sure you are one of them, but you wont admit it). You are just lucky there are only a few good posters on here who support non-cheating teams, or you'd be getting hammered more on your own Ohio forum.

SageI like outside folks on this forum. Forums are only fun with wide ranging beliefs.
But, everyone cheats. -

If that holds true and OSU has better records than the previous 5 years then they will win 2-3 national titles. -

Who are these noncheating teams? What the OSU players did is very minor, it only became a big deal because Tress didn't report what he knew (and rightfully paid the ultimate price) No school with just these violations has ever lost a scholarship or gotten a bowl ban and If no more violations are uncovered I"ll be surprised if OSU gets either a bowl ban or loses any scholarships. Please don't name any SEC school except maybe Vandy as noncheatering schools. I don't understand the constant hammering by ESPN, why not Oregon, or North Carolina, or West Virginia, or Auburn (who ESPN can't kiss their ass enough) why not Michigan (what Rich Rod did was worse than free tatoos. All these schools barely got a mention but when it's OSU ESPN makes shit up (car deals) and then doesn't even appologize or hardly mention it when they are proved wrong. And the dumbF--- whois blurred out while talking about Pryor (is Pryor in the MOB also in addition to his many other sins?)cats gone wild;827597 wrote:Cbf still is on that time of the month. I thought they, and even local media outlets, made it pretty clear that they wanted emails between JT (and any other OSU employees) and Sarniak involving the Pryor case. It could very well provide insight as to who really knew about it.Writerbuckeye;827339 wrote:
In the meantime, ESPiN is suing OSU because the university isn't just turning over every e-mail in the system so they can go on a fishing expedition. Under freedom of information laws, you are supposed to specifically tell what it is you want to view; apparently ESPiN doesn't believe they need to follow the law. -

^^OSU's lack of cooperation is what's going to get the NCAA to punish them harder than most OSU fans think. I guess some scholly losses and a one year bowl ban is better than what is behind door #2 if those emails/calls get released and show there were others in the know. -

Didn't LSU just get accused of cheating? They were just smart about it and led no trails? -

I disagree. IMHO CBF provides pretty good analysis of football and basketball. He's one of my favorite posters.SportsAndLady;826793 wrote:One of these days cbf will be gone from these boards...and all in the world will be well.

Isn't everyone a little bit biased? I do think lately CBF has been getting riled up by trolls, but I think most of his posts are pretty interesting.
I agree with this to a point. If everyone agreed 100% of the time this would just be one big circle jerk and that would be boring. But there are some people here who are better off being ignored.Tiernan;826878 wrote:Having diverse (although idiotic) opinions like Speed O' Sand, Ty Webb and Cats offer up is what makes a message board hop & pop. -

OSU's lack of cooperation? They have been very proactive and cooperative with the NCAA. They don't have to reveal anymore than they already have to the media. -

How has OSU failed to cooperate with the NCAA?
You're confusing a battle with the MEDIA with the NCAA. Not. The. Same. Thing.
Ohio State is standing on a principle related to student privacy, and what appears to be a general fishing expedition. If the law allows for student privacy, there's not a lot OSU can do without being opened up to lawsuits from every student for breaching that privacy.
If the NCAA were wanting those e-mails to check on issues, I'm sure they would also be suing OSU -- and THEN you could say OSU wasn't cooperating. So far as I know, that is not the case and never has been.
Some of you people assume way too much in HOPES that Ohio State will get worse punishments. -
WebFiredwccrew;827792 wrote:OSU's lack of cooperation? They have been very proactive and cooperative with the NCAA. They don't have to reveal anymore than they already have to the media.
That's just it. They might have to. We'll see. -
WriterbuckeyeKnightRyder;827487 wrote:well if someone on the o-zone said it it would have to be gospel.
A lot of web sites, including the O-zone, have done more research and written far more accurate stories about what has happened during this time than most of the so-called mainstream sports media.
The O-Zone hasn't written a hack piece dredging up stuff from Tressel's elementary school days (okay, I'm exaggerating) that included NO proof of any kind in their allegations. They also haven't had radio shows with hosts going off about all the corruption, and citing things that (1) have never been proven or (2) been part of any NCAA letter of allegation.
So YOU BET YOUR ASS I'll take a written piece on the O-Zone over that of ESPiN, SI or most other media out there right now.
Why?
Because the O-Zone isn't invested in making Ohio State look as bad as possible to get more web hits to jack up advertising rates...and the O-Zone isn't a direct competitor with the Big Ten Network, and trying to do as much damage as possible to one of that network's biggest draws. -

the O-Zone is invested in making OSU look as innocent as a new born. their coverage of all things OHIO STATE can be compared with fox news coverage of the GOP. and the O-Zone is loaded with hack pieces praising the the integrity of OSU. i wouldnt believe anything written on that site. -
