    LOL...no I haven't.

I usually think "oh shit, I'm going to get stabbed."

Not, "oh shit, I'm going to get stabbed...in the butt...by some dude's dick."

I think "If that fucking cat pisses in my closet, I'm going to see if my punting technique is still any good".

I think, "Good thing the gun is in the nightstand as opposed to the closet."

I just read this whole thread and am convinced of 2 things. 1) sleeper likes to make people angry and 2) LJ may have some mental issues

    Go Bucks.

I talked to my lawyer today on another matter. I broached this subject with him and he said freedom of the press is a tough nut to crack. You must prove the false accusations were done with malice, to win the lawsuit. But many are settled out of court for some loose change. To keep the lawsuit from going to court, to keep negative press from damaging the reputation of the defendant.

I think maybe you've been emotionally scarred by an ex-girlfriend with a double-sided dildo. :)

What's common sense is that both scenarios are entirely possible.
Not really. Not many kids would set their fathers up for failure.

When the list of names were released Klein was the one name that stood out to me. With that said I believe most of what the author said. Also if a dad asked his son if he's hanging out at a tattoo parlor smoking pot while he's supposed to be going to class and practicing, its really easy to deny the tattoo affiliation.

You've got it backwards: it's up to the reporter to provide the proof. He failed miserably to do that.

If you're going to smear someone's character, you damn well better be right and have something to back it up. Otherwise, you're a hack.

Pulitzer Prize or not -- this guy is a hack.

Help me out here- I know about Simon and Klein- who would #3 be?

If the lawsuit fails, maybe a consolation prize could be a Papa Simon vs. Dohrmann steel cage match . . .

Like I said, there will be a failure to state a claim since the article was not written with the malice necessary to constitute an intentional tort or infringe on constitutional rights

One can only hope (and maybe S&L can be the referee)

Are you assuming said players will qualify as "public figures?" Even so, malice also = reckless disregard for the truth. Unfortunately, crack journalism today allows a writer to author a national piece with less than credible sources. It would be a difficult case to win.

The article was a little light on information. That part was disappointing. If you are going to point the figure at college athletes, you should at least be fair and point out specifically what they did. He kind of just mentioned them and then glossed over specifics. Not really fair to the kids. Because like I have mentioned before "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't generally exist in the court of public opinion.

I will say this though. If Klein is completely innocent, good for him. I hope he brings this writer down a couple of notches. If he is guilty of "something," he is opening up a pretty big can of worms. He better hope that this writer doesn't call his bluff. (I have heard that the writer says he has plenty of more evidence up his sleeve...not sure that I believe that though)

I agree with you that if Klein fights this, he better be damn sure he has no skeletons we wants uncovered....and this is just writer speak for "I sure hope you don't call me out on this"

So let me get this straight...Pryor AKA-THUG, hires an attorney and all of sudden he is clean and has never done anything worng? Give me a break. Multiple "loaner cars" lives in the lofts and eats at the finest eating establishment central has to offer. Interesting facts for a poor kid from PA.

Tressle stepped down because he knew deep down Pryor and himself were really above board...YEAH OK

And now 3 OSU players daddy's say " not my son" HAHA...ok this would be the first time in history a college kid did something while away at school and his father was unaware of. If SI prints it, they have proof.

And wait a minute...Storm Klien? Never heard of the kid.....but im banking on his family is poor?

Bottom line....Tressel is gone and until Pryor is gone the OSU football program will not be able to move on.

    Ytown QB - NCAA Violations.
    Clarrett - Thug
    T. Smith - Selvish Thug
Pryor - Worst character OSU ever recruited.

    Common thread - Jim Tressel
