Actually I have 2 degrees from a top 14 University. We can forgo the Pulitzer prize because its been proven that those that have it are journalists who post smut for the sake of ratings.

Have fun getting a job with your law degree. There are lawyers 1000x smarter than you that are working at McDonalds(I own 2 btw, yes own, so let me know if you need a job flippin' burgers).

Congrats sir. But the rankings you post are relating to a specific college (business colleges). You should have taken a look at which business college is rated number one before posting though, dumbass: http://business.nd.edu/newsandevents/mendoza_in_the_news_article.aspx?id=8625

Gotcha. I thought you were implying that he divulged confidential and important information to you.

You left out the word "undergraduate". The best business college is a state to the west of South Bend. :)

I know several of their graduates. They make me very confident that my earlier statement is correct.

Your claim was that I didn't have a degree from a top 20 school and I provided it for you. I win, you lose, how does that feel?

Didn't say "school" sleeper... Clearly said University :) how does that feel?

Oh, a great lawyer argues semantics.

Thanks for telling me where you went though so you can't bullshit and pull some other university out of your ass: http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/ohio-state-6883 see number 56:)

Rankings are meaningless. The Ohio State University is #1 in the country, there's no doubt about it.

But seriously, with your education level, I could offer you $9.74 an hour. It's an easy job, and you get a free meal with every shift.

For those unaware, this is John Simon's old man: http://imgur.com/HG5Iu, and he mad at SI. Oh he mad.
  • vball10set
^^holy shit--thank God he's not mad at ME!!!
  • SportsAndLady
When I think of getting raped by a man and a steel pole, I think of John Simon's dad...dear god
  • Prescott
    Because you were there?
    No,it is common sense.
  • KR1245
Good! I hope they sue the shit outta SI. That article was shit

What's common sense is that both scenarios are entirely possible.

A suit will be dismissed if Sports Illustrated has done nothing on which a claim can be granted against them. From my understanding, the author just cites sources and is neither hampering anyone's constitutional rights nor acting maliciously in an intentional tort. Those would be the only two claims that I could see stemming from a situation similar to this one, but I still think neither apply here. So it'd be similar to if you told me I was balding and I tried to take it to court, but there is no statute that I could use to bring a claim that the court can grant me relief under.

I'm no legal expert but wouldn't defamation of character be in play here?

Especially if they can claim that it would affect Simon's potential future earnings.

Why do you think about getting raped by a man?

Absolutely, it can be a libel suit if it is written false or damaging accusations against one's character.

Did he assault his character or did he make statements regarding actions. Someone would have to create their own judgment of character wouldn't they?

Oh come on..you've never been sitting in your bed and heard a little noise from the closet and thought "oh god, i'm about to be raped"
