    Haha same.

Had to LMAO yesterday when Ochostinko said TP throws a better ball than most current NFL QBs he's known. And their idiot agent introduced Ochostinko as a "future HOFmer" . The circus had come to town!

I dislike Pryor as much as anyone, but why if he public enemy #1 and Boom, Posey, Adams and the others being given a pass? They are all in the same boat, but Pryor is the only one going down.

    That, I do not understand.

IMO, because of his outspoken personality and fanfare coming out of high school, he's looked at as the ring leader

That's because he's always had a camera in his face. I'm not making excuses for him, but they all can get out of Columbus.

I do somewhat agree. He is in the limelight because he's had no other choice. His dumbness was put on national tv for all to see. So he does get the (probably) unfair tag of being the ringleader.

    +1

IMHO they all screwed up and they should have served their suspensions. I've heard a lot of rumors that might make me think it's a lot bigger than just them (Pittman saying "cats been gettiin the hookup for a long time" among other things) so I'm not even convinced that Pryor was the ring leader.

Pryor isn't the only one being blamed, trust me. He's just the one getting talked about the most because he's in the news. Also, I think it's very likely the stuff he did beyond the tattoo parlor was probably way more than anyone else. If for no other reason than his name would sell more than the others.

I honestly don't expect Posey to play another down for OSU. When the NCAA ruling comes down, I expect him to be made ineligible for the season.

As for the others, I guess time will answer that question. They can all leave OSU now, as far as I'm concerned. I'd just as soon let the other players who will be playing for them the first 5 games finish the season.

The others did not, or have not been accused of:

    1) saying immature and not-so-intelligent things to the media and via Twitter
    2) driving around lots of cars
    3) signing random pieces of football gear and earning tens of thousands of dollars
    4) driving to a team meeting, after JT resigned, in a decent new (to him) car

Now I don't know if TP is guilty of all those things, but the others are definitely not "in the same boat" as TP. And WebFire is right- TP's also had a microphone in his face and the bullseye/target/spotlight way more than the others.

And I'm not a "they can all get out of Columbus" guy either. When did they sell their own personal property again- during their freshman years (2009)? Sorry, but some people on here who expect OSU's roster to have 85 Chris Spielmans who came from solid two-parent families, grew up in stellar neighborhoods, and played for solid high school programs with decent, honorable coaches are sorely misled. I'm not happy with the Tat 5 nor with their actions, but let them serve their suspensions and have a chance to repair their reputations. Quit acting like they're criminals.

I agree with this. They screwed up. They will be punished. Then I hope we can move on.
  • thedynasty1998
I don't think they are criminals, and I don't think Pryor is one either.

And let's not pretend these guys only sold stuff their freshman year. It was a continuous problem. Was Pryor more involved? Maybe. But they all screwed up. They all drive nice cars. They all hung out at a tattoo parlor where drugs were accessible.

Do I think they should be kicked off the team? Yea I do. 5 games doesn't do it for me. But that's a matter of opinion.

Others may not have been accused of it, but it's pretty well known around campus that football players outside of Pryor were driving cars way beyond what their financial situation would lead you to expect.

    Finally a voice of reason.
You don't even have to come from a bad 'family situation'; to screw up either. 18- 19 year old boys like cars, sex, and money. They are just arrogant and ignorant enough to think they can beat the system, even though they've been told by coaches/parents and they should know better.

I honestly hope none of you who are calling for their heads on a platter ever have kids of your own. You are in for a very rude awakening. This whole thing is so over the top, I'm think I'm more disgusted at the actions of the media and the reaction of some people than I am of the actual violations themselves. Sure they broke rules and deserve to be punished....they got suspensions. It should have ended there.
  • Big Gain
90% of those on here are kids too young to have kids or old enough to have kids but still act like kids.

If you don't understand why, then you just aren't very smart. Lets see, the big time #1 recruit in the country, who brought attention to himself during the recruiting fiasco. He was the QB at one of the top programs in the country. Has made numerous stupid statements bring more attention during his 3yrs at OSU. As a 3yr starting QB, he was in a position of leadership as well as visibility. On top of that, there are MANY other accusations as far as cars and money floating around currently. True or not, he obviously made some poor choices (he even admitted as much in press conference) that put the spot light on himself. Hey, if this ends up ONLY being tattoos..then he doesn't deserve all of this. If there is more, which is likely..then he deserves all the criticism he is getting. But he is far from the only one being blamed. But he is what he is. He is making a choice to be visible while the others are staying below the radar. Its really NOT hard to understand why he is being blamed.

Why dont posey boom n Adams hedge bets and enter the supplemental as well
  • thedynasty1998
I understand the QB is a higher profile figure and he came with all the fanfare. But let's not pretend Pryor was the only one getting cars.
  • bases_loaded
I'm assuming since the other 4 are still on and with the team they weren't doing everything tpeezy was.

Maybe so, but I need more than hearsay before I tell 4 guys who've given blood & sweat for OSU football to "get out of Columbus".

Blind faithful Buckeye fans here will never change. The evidence is in black and white and they refuse to open their eyes. The only wrongdoing the homer fans on this board will admit to is what the coach and players confessed to. Everything else is lies, rumors, and damn statistics. lmao

Link to black and white evidence?

The haters of OSU are the same just doing the exact opposite. Every article is the truth, etc..

I don't feel like wasting my time proving to you what's already written and said by the players and coach themselves. Of course I could post links to some stupid blogs like you, lmao.

So Florida paid off the NCAA?

    It's deeper than we thought.

Oh well, my team will be winning big games, winning championships, and being relevant for the next 100000 years. Florida, not so much. Perennial bottom feeder.
