The comments are the best part:
jsullinger00: ncaa should be thrown in jail every last one of them. they're profiling ohio state now. i don't care if its a investigation they're still digging deeper into more stuff than what they were originally investigating not only that, but once again show me proof of this? Show me proof that he didn't get that signed memoirbila from ebay or something. All of this stuff coming out of the closet i guarantee maybe 30% is actually viable. The ncaa sickens me with how they treat one of their best and most prestigeous programs. the pres needs shot in the back so he can't ever feel the joy of walking on this earth again. Such an evil person. -

Wow that's a lot of ignorance. -
Big GainI wonder how much Pryor actually got from Talbot. Why would someone ever pay for something illegal with a check?? Because he was MORE than just broke. The bloodsucker wannabe owed $350,000 in back taxes and obviously had other financial problems since people in the business world were suing him. Maybe this was the scenario. Talbot, "Terrel, I don't have the money right now, but you sign this little helmet and I'll give you a check for $100. I'll sell it $200 and then I'll put the money in the checking account." A SUCKER is born every minute.
If I was a REAL sports memorabilia con artist all I would need is one Terrel Pryor autograph. I could double my profits on everything else I sold, just copy that original autograph. -

Before he made it big, Jerry Springer paid for a prostitute in Cincinnati with a check.... even more hilarioius the check bounced. -
karen lotzObviously the Talbott guy isn't real smart. You would think he wouldn't cut Pryor a check, but you also would think he wouldn't tell people he got a dregree from Kent State after only spending 2 semesters there.

or be $350k in the hole.
oh BTW, the Torg's big news wasn't that TP and Gruden are doing a show, it's that SI is still in town. Ok? -
karen lotzYeah I think he also said that ESPN was supposed to leave, but ended up staying because they found something else. He said he knows what it is but won't say anything other than players were getting free stuff. SI and ESPN are digging at two different things apparently as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ESPN thing is the Talbott stuff, since they are kind of taking heat for it. Who knows what "groundbreaking" free stuff SI has come up with. -

I wish the media outlets would only stay if they really had something worthwhile. Staying in Cbus for a "big" story about some free golf is kind of ridiculous. -

+1...seriously..a couple free rounds of golf. big fuckin' whoop -

This is getting more and more ridiculous. I think the more stories that come out that are similar to this one, the less severe the situation seems. -
LJThe more that comes out about Talbott and the more I hear about him around town (there are a few guys in the office building who are staffers and know of him) the more I believe he was told to stay away from the program because he was fucking creepy moreso than they had evidence of him giving money.

karen lotzTorg tweeted that Pryor has signed with Drew Rosenhaus.

I'm a little surprised Rosenhaus would take him on. Seems like small potatos for them. -

Rosenhaus likes to be in the spotlight. He sees how much media attention Pryor has, and he wants to be apart of it. Even if Pryor sucks, he'll still get paid pretty well. -
karen lotzmortreport Chris Mortensen5 NFL GMs so far on Terrelle Pryor, Drew Rosenhaus has his work cut out. Wisconsin game really bothered 'em all
More than 1 GM mentioned Pryor left WRs stretching, diving, adjusting for too many passes; say 65% completion as a junior is misleading
Pryor "Much better athlete than a passer/quarterback." "Do not compare him to Cam Newton as a passer - not even close."
Supplemental draft still has not been established. Normally around mid-July if/when they have it. Pryor lot of work to do between now then
Highest grade so far was "maybe a 4th rounder, if that." One GM: "If I only watched Wisconsin game, I wouldn't give draftable grade."
All that being said, let's remember: It only takes one team to fall in love with Pryor. -

That's kinda harsh...I mean couldn't you say that about any player in the history of college football? Everyone has a bad game.wrote:If I only watched Wisconsin game, I wouldn't give draftable grade."
Sidenote...TP has had more than 1 bad game, that's not waht I'm saying...I don't think he'll be a good NFL QB, nor do I think he'll be a high pick in this supplemental draft. I just think that logic is awful. -

You can have a bad game and still show potential and good mechanics, or good decision making skills. -

Yeah I mean that's true. I dont know, I just feel like that was kind of a lazy statement.
I'm not even trying to defend him either. I agreed with what they were saying, just that part was just weird to hear. -

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think maybe he meant he was so awful in that game that he couldn't even see him as a pro. I think most QBs with pro potential at least some skills even in a bad game.
IDK, just taking a guess. -
jordo212000TP got away with poor mechanics and bad decision making because of his superior athleticism and great teammates
