All the antifans got what they deserve. It's just a shame it had to happen OSU. I was really pulling for them after Thursday.

I am very disappointed to see the season end this way. First off, props to Kentucky on a great game. They were the better team last night. That being said, this is, in my opinion, the most complete (best) team that I have seen at OSU in quite some time. (yes, better than the Oden squad) With their 3 ball capability and senior leadership combined with a true star big man and very talented athletes, I thought they were the most complete team at OSU that I have seen. All of the pieces were there. For this team (and this season), anything less than a final four appearance is a disappointment. Beating UTSA and George Mason in the tournament does not a season make. It was a great season to watch and I wish this senior class the best. They will be very memorable for years to come with some of the records they have. Just hate to see it end this way for them.

    Some thoughts:

    1. Hats off to UK for playing some damn good defense and making the plays when they needed it. Calipari did a great job scouting the tendencies bc thw Wildcats knew every move we were going to make. I thought to counter that, Deshaun should have played more.

    2. Anyone who thinks low of Deshaun Thomas is insane. He's a gifted rebounder at the 3 position and he's going to be great when his role expands into an all around player next year.

    3. As great as this team was, we could be better next year. Amir Williams is a legitimate force at the 5 but more importantly will allow Sully to move back to his natural 4 and play the facing the basket game that made him unstoppable in high school because as we saw Sully is still raw with his back to the basket against a good defender. I'm curious to see what Matta does with both Craft and Shannon Scott, but Sam Thompson and Laquinton Ross both talented enough to earn playing time, this team could provide a wider arrnange of weapons that make it tougher to gameplan for than this year.

    4. Hats off to Lighty, Diebler, and Lauderdale for an incredible ride. It was a pleasure watching them and their leadership will be tough to replace.

First tiem really watching OSU last night. Sulliinger is overrated. He is not that tall to be a back to the basket guy. He gets his points off of rebounds and drive and dishes from other people. Does not seem to have much game himself. I look for him to flop in the NBA If he comes out this years.

this is the type of post I'd expect coming from someone with a learning disability, so I'll be gentle....21 points, 16 rebounds...overrated?

He'll be a flop only if one's expectations are that he's going to be a star. If one's reasonable (IMO) expectation is for him to be a solid contributor for his team for 10-12 years, he won't be a flop at all.

    Wow I'm still drunk. :(

Great fucking game though....hats off to UK. OSU obviously didn't play their best and still had a shot at the end. Knight does nothing the whole game then bangs the most important bucket of the night. Not gonna lie....that shit hurt.

lol@ thavoice....clueless motherfucker. That is up there with one of the dumbest posts I've ever read.

I never take the word of people after their season just ended. I have heard so many times where players say they would come back, only to enter the draft. Mike Conley is a example a few years ago saying he will be back and BAM he was gone. I believe it when it happens.

I think that's the best approach to take as a fan.

I think Sully will be back. I know Buf said will be too, but I'll be surprised to see that.

Well, OSU played terribly. This loss goes on Buford and Matta. Buford plain and simple didn't show up, and Matta got outcoached. We completely abandoned our inside-outside game that had been so successful. Very impressed w/ the play of Craft and Sully in the biggest game they've ever played. Hell of a season for the Bucks, and w/ Sully and Buford coming back next year, they should be poised for a very good season. Congrats to the UK fans and Go Bucks!!
  • mallymal614
Base on gut feeling, I am about 75 percent certain Bufford is gone. As I said earlier, I think his stock can only get worse. I don't see much upside, so he needs to go while he is still projected as a first round pick.
  • Prescott
They got every marginal call the entire game and still couldn't win.
I'm not going to complain about the calls, but the marginal calls were evenly distributed.

Yeah I was surprised Matta didn't attempt to slow the game down and work it in and out. I was waiting for it all night and it never fucking happened.

It's funny you're posting on this thread, but still want no part of the Arizona/Duke thread.

    What!!!

Sullinger is a gifted athlete with an incredible work ethic. He is not a skilled post player. He plays a power game on the blocks because he is doesn't get much lift on his shots and he doesn't have a refined post game. Many of his shot attempts are really attempts to get fouled and not attempts to score the goal.

I have no problem saying UK was the better team last night, and I don't really care if you want to admit 'Zona was better or not, but running from a thread cause your team loses is childish.

fwiw, Buford's uncle is a friend of mine, and he told me that Will is coming back, and that Sully was as well (as confirmed by the article posted above)....BUT, as another poster stated, it's always best to wait and see

Truthfully I'm indifferent about Buford leaving. He's a great talent but him leaving infuses the youth of Sibert, Thompson, Ross and Weatherspoon which I think can benefit the Bucks by giving teams more than 6 options to worry about.

Not a skilled post player? lmao....for a freshman he is amazing in the post. His footwork and moves down low are phenomenal.
