Although extremely young, a WR corp of TY Williams, Philly Brown, Fields, and Story could help ease the sting of losing Sanz and getting us through those first 5 without Posey. Even though I don't see us throwing the ball much those 5 games, but if we have to, I think those young guys will be enough.
I've also heard talk of OSU using Stoneburner as a WR in some sets due to the lack of on the field experience that the WR corp will have early on.
I just see OSU, with their OL and RB's, running the ball a ton before Pryor gets back. -

Yeah we'll see plenty of that too. They actually did that more than a few times this past year. With the emergence of Fragel at TE, it makes splitting Stoney out in the slot quite easier. -
dat dudeJennings commented today that he would make his decision on NSD. That means Jennings, Grant and Walker will all be announcing on NSD. I haven't heard anything regarding Story's timeline. Could be a huge day for the Bucks. Have to get at least one.

Hopefully they fare better than they did last NSD. That was brutal. -

It sailed and it may be coming back to port. There is a chance this could happen. Again only if Duron earns his associates. -
ytownfootballOn the surface it looks like JT might run the ball for 5 games. I'm not so sure about that. He's pretty committed to a balanced game plan offensively. Yeah, he'll be without a couple guys, but that's what the opposition will be counting on also. I'd certainly look for them to establish the run as opposed to passing to set up the run, but we'll see the ball in the air.

That is why his offer list was unimpressive coming out of high school. Everyone wasn't sure about his heart. His doctors thought they fixed it his junior/senior year of high school but apparently that is not the case. What injury does McVey have that is carreer ending? I have read he has serious issues but I never read exactly what the problem is. -
stroupsIm thinking his injury was a shoulder

Scarlet_BuckeyeSeeing as how OSU has never faired well on Signing Day (save for maybe Pryor), I'm not going to hold my breath on these kids suddenly deciding to attend OSU.

and he didn't even sign on signing day -
charliehustle14I saw where Story is like, the 31st ranked WR on Rivals. That really surprises me. After watching numerous highlights of him, I can't imagine there being 30 better WR prospects.

HitsRusI'm wondering if Wynn doesn't play for Glenville, if he even gets a second look at D1, especially a Big Ten school. 5'6 150 lbs is awfully small.

mucalum49Shaq Washington from Maple Hts is listed at 5'9" 160 and committed to Cincy. Wynn is listed at 5'8" and 155 so they are pretty comparable size wise.

Agreed. -
Big Gain5-6 150, you better be tough and run a 4.2.

OneBuckeyeLemming is a ND cock gobbler. He is uninformed as anyone, like the quote below. Jones and Sturdivant don't even have offers.
On a different note an ESPN article sometime last week said OSU was in trouble at the QB position with only Guiton, Bauserman and Graham. Totally forgetting about Mller. Also the same article said the buckeyes class needed a RB. SMH. They don't even look at the depth chart or at what is coming in 2012.Glenville's defensive end Andre Sturdivant, offensive lineman Aundrey Walker, and quarterback Cardale Jones have all been on the Buckeyes' wish list, but have not yet declared a college choice. -
SpeedofsandStory's facebook indicates good news for the Gators. I don't think Drayton has been straight up with him.

I don't believe that quote was from Lemming. That is from Matt Markey. -
Speedofsand"Wide receiver #JaJuan Story calls Stan Drayton hire "dumb" and "why they hire a RB for a wr" per his Facebook."
I read this second hand, I don't stalk kids on facebook. -

http://www.tampabay.com/hometeam/blog/nature-coasts-jajuan-story-signing-day-decision/8203/Who: Richmond (VA) linebacker Curtis Grant. MaxPreps' 19th-ranked player overall and second-ranked inside linebacker.
What's the big deal: As MaxPreps' Stephen Spiewak details, Grant is one of the best and most heavily recruited linebackers in the country. After racking up 331 tackles over his final two years at Hermitage High, Grant has impressive size for a high school senior at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds. Unlike a lot of linebackers at his level, Grant reads plays well and attacks the line of scrimmage with his speed and power. It's no stretch to say he could play as a freshman, at the very least on special teams, but he has all the tools to become a future star wherever he goes.
When: He will announce on Signing Day around 1:30 ET at his high school.
Considering: Florida, Ohio State, Virginia and North Carolina.
Best guess: Ohio State. Spiewak says Grant likely ends up at either Ohio State or Florida, adding that head coach Will Muschamp has worked hard to establish a bond with Grant. While Florida has made a push, ultimately the Buckeyes snatch Grant up to add to an impressive and young linebacking core for the sweater vest.
Nature Coast's Ja'Juan Story a signing day decision
Thu. January 27, 2011 | Bryan Burns
Nature Coast athlete Ja'Juan Story will wait until signing day to make his college decision according to Sharks football coach Mark Nash.
Story is down to two schools: Ohio State and Florida.
"Right now, I think it's neck-and-neck between the two," Nash said.
Story initially gave an oral commit to Florida in June of 2010 but reopened his recruiting after Gators' head coach Urban Meyer announced his resignation on Dec. 8.
The 6-foot-3, 190 pound Story is ranked the 43rd overall recruit in the nation and sixth best receiver by ESPN. As a senior playing quarterback at Nature Coast, Story completed 33-of-60 passes for 427 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, he rushed 99 times for 847 yards and 12 touchdowns. He caught seven passes for 123 yards and two more scores.
