Trueblue23Tate isn't wanted at Michigan because of his PISS POOR attitude. Can't fully blame him though, I mean his parents certainly haven't helped any of this.

I figured as much, with all three brothers transferring from their original schools....Denard is the man anyway -
Trueblue23His parents thought Jason should have started over Henne. Nuff said.

bigkahunaI was put off by Tate before he even started with his Forcierspread.com website or whatever it was. Don't get me wrong, he played great at times for us, but even his team picture scream arrogance.

This isn't a very impressive signing, probably means they only expect maybe 1 of the other DB's to commit. It's a little too late to be picky, got to get some depth in there. -

This wouldn't be impressive if it were August. The staff right now is very concerned with depth. Safety is still going to be a big concern, and Carter might possibly play some safety. D-line is also a concern, moving to a 4 man front. I think they have personnel to fill a lot of spots, but when you start getting into the 2 deep, it starts to get scary.
You also must realize that Hoke and Co. are trying to establish some recruiting pipelines. Grabbing some 3* players from Ohio will help put the pipelines together, and hopefully down the road they'll be 4 and 5* athletes. I know they've been hitting Ohio pretty hard, and they offered another 3* LB and a 3* DE from the state.
So, you have to realize, at this point in the game, we need some of these commitments, even if they don't have as many stars as we'd like. -
WebFireSounds like that 3* DE wants to come to Michigan. Keith Heitzman from Hilliard Davidson. Talks about DE, DT or FB possibly.

They aren't going to be building any pipelines at Pickerington for 4 and 5 star players. Maybe at a Cleveland or Toledo school. This is about getting a player Hoke likes since he's not confident about the guys still out there considering UM. Yes I realize they need commits, I said that in my post. -

I didn't mean to that specific school, just Ohio in general. Start turning 3* players from Ohio into meaningful contributors, and the other Ohio kids will take notice. -

And I do agree it was probably partly due to not being confident in getting some of the other CB commits. -
WebFireHeitzman committed today.
-
WebFireSounds like 4* CB Raymon Taylor might be close to committing, or perhaps already did.
-
dat dudeTaylor did commit.

Yep, it's official. Great grab. So much for what we were thinking, dave. -
Trueblue23Michigan also got a commit out of All-American kicker Matt Wile today.
-
bigkahunaGreat day for Hoke and Co.
-
daveTaylor is a great get. Not surprising since he's from Michigan and a big fan. McClure and Raven are the ones that would be shoking. Has there been any news about McClure?
I see they got Heitzman as a DE commit, not TE which he supposedly had hoped. Definitely needed switching to the 4-3. -
Trueblue23I hear Raven is big on Michigan..
-
daveI wonder if Michigan has ever had 2 kickers on scholarship?
-
WebFireThe other kicker should lose his, LOL.
Great weekend for the Blue! -
WebFireOL Tony Posada reaffirmed his commitment to Michigan this weeked.
-
bo shemmy3337Michigan is getting the class back on track and they still have a little time to do more work. GO BLUE!!!

WebFireSounds like LB Frank Clark will commit to Michigan, but an announcement will not happen until later this week or even signing day.
Also, commit Justice Hayes tweeted that he expects another commit announcement from the weekend. It could be Clark, but hopefully someone else.
