Alot of QB's can have good stats vs. Marshall, Ohio and a overranked Miami. But, Pryor has the next 3 weeks to pad his stats against Eastern Mich, Illinois and Indiana. FIVE creampuffs out of 6 games. Man.......the Big 10 is tough!! -

Tiger2003I have no fucking clue why the hell we are talking about the Heisman right now anyways. Who gives a fuck, lets wait till it gets later in the season. Its a damn joke to be talking about it right now saying no your wrong and I am right. Yah you can say he is putting up good numbers right now, but lets just slow the fuck down on handing out the award.

coming from the creepiest stalker on this site... -
karen lotzTiger I agree somewhat. No one on here has a vote for the Heisman (I assume) but this is an internet forum and we are talking about college football. Obviously Heisman talk is going to come up. Nothing wrong with it and it will get sorted out over the next few months.

hey, look who's back--did you get paroled, or is this just a weekend furlough??DeyDurkie5;488539 wrote:coming from the creepiest stalker on this site... -
Tiger2003Yes of course we are going to talk about it, but there is no fucking reason why everyone is getting so heated, about who is the front runner. Im pretty sure last years winner was not the front runner that this time...So lets all just kick back relax and watch some good college football over the next month or so. Heisman talk should not start up till about Week 8, when the first BCS standings come out.

gerb131He won't get it but Ingram will end up deserving it.

I dont think he will. Richardson is going to take to many carries this year from him. He will put up good numbers but not Heisman number! JMO -

Thats a valid point but I don't think Ingram is a 25 touch guy to get his numbers. He needs 17-22 touches a game to put up the numbers. -

You are right he averaged 19.3 carries last year, but I dont see hime putting up the numbers like last year, and I think him missing the first 2 games is going to hurt him. -
devil1197Some dark horses are John Clay and Taylor Martinez. I know Martinez is a freshman, but the kid has put up some good stats.
-
vball10set..and don't forget Andy Dalton from TCU. There's a lot of good candidates out there, and it's a long season--it's part of what makes college football the spectacle that it is
-
gerb131Cam Newton is throwing himself into the talk. He is taking out S.Car alone.

It's safe to say he is out. He really struggled tonight throwing 1TD, and having two interceptions and two fumbles. If Nebraska's defense wasn't there to bail him out they might have been in trouble. There is a lot of talk about Nebraska being back, and I think they are to a point, but it's hard to be a national title contender with a Freshman QB. If he plays like that against someone in the Big 12 they will lose and it might be ugly. -
Cleveland BuckIngram may have put himself back in the race, and I don't think there is any question he is the best player in college football.

Yeah, he tanked it after looking unstoppable early.
Ingram, Pryor, Robinson, Mallet (though he lost the true test of the year in terrible fashion). -
krambmanAfter today I still have Robinson #1 (4/4 for 60 yards and 5 carries for 129 yards and 2 TD's). I think Pryor has probably established himself as a firm #2 at this point. My top five looks like this:
1. Denard Robinson
2. Terrell Pryor
3. Andrew Luck
4. Kellen Moore
5. Mark Ingram
Based on his performance Ingram could easily be higher except that he missed the first two games. -
vball10setin no particular order....Denard Robinson, Kellen Moore, Mark Ingram, Terrelle Pryor, Patrick Peterson (designated defensive dark horse)

I'd agree that Ingram is back in the race. He is a beast, no quesiton. Best player? Thats tough to distinguish. Robinson has looked like the best overall player to date.
