Newton is putting up great numbers in a tough conference while positioning his team for a shot at the national championship. I'd say that merits a lot of love from the media.

I think its Newtons to lose at this point. Well see how he does as their schedule gets tougher from here on out. I would wager is a 2.5 horse race right now. James would be my favorite.

How could anyone argue againist Newton is going to run away with this unless he gets hurt:

    123/183 67.2% 1890 yds 19TD 5 Ints

    176 rushes 1146 yds 15 TD

    Total:
    362 attempts 3036 yds 34 TD 8.3 yds/play

Gibby this is the first thing I've ever seen you close to being correct on. Too bad its also a no brainer to pick Newton for the Heisman at this point.

Bodog just took Heisman betting off of their boards because of the Cam Newton allegations.

    4. Terrelle Pryor
    5. Kellen Moore(that loss might hurt him) or Robinson( even though the record isnt good..could get an invite based on stats)

    cam newton
    lemichael james
    kellen moore

i really don't think anybody else is in the picture
  • dat dude
Only 3 will be invited: Newton, Luck and James. Maybe Kellen Moore as a throw in, too.

Cam has it locked up already.
  • wes_mantooth
    Cam is a lock.

It really seems like this is the worst year for candidates since the Troy Smith Heisman year. Cam wins by default.
