Pryor healthy and ready for upcoming season

Yes OSU will be good (they won't lose more than two [regular season] games), but much of their success will ride on the shoulders of Pryor; and quite frankly, I don't think the kid is a very good QB. He is a TREMENDOUS athlete, but quarterback? No. His accuracy is not that of an elite QB.

And yes, he had a superb game against Oregon, but when you really breakdown the film, the OSU coaching staff actually did their job for once and came prepared. They had an impeccable game-plan.

So what you are saying is that when Pryor is used correctly he is a superb QB?

I guess you don't know football....BC the quarterback is the leader of the team dumbass.....it don't matter if he is a freshman or a Senior....as he goes the offense goes.....

Yes you know everything there is to know about football. Clearly this is the case because you are a diehard buckeye fan and honestly believe that you would take Craig Fucking Krenzel over any of the top 5 QB's this year.

LOL, and ND bitch trolls cry when buckeye fans get on their threads..please go back to wacking off to Brian Kelly.

What about the couple of OSU fans on the thread that are saying similar things? You'll have to think of an actual substantive argument to come back with on them.

You're not doing a bad job wacking off to Pryor.

The difference is we aren't trolling. I gave an opinion and supported it with facts, you on the other hand will jump on an ND thread to just bash and flame........understand? No one is saying Pryor sucks or OSU sucks, just giving the facts that he isn't a very good passer. Then again, I wouldn't expect you to understand that, after all, you did compare Vince Young to Brett Favre.......LMAO!

So, it doesn't have anything to do with talent around him? Doesn't really matter what kind of offensive line he has? Doesn't really matter if the defense causes turnovers, putting the offense in good position or causes a lot of 3 and outs? It doesn't matter if the team has superior talent compared to the opposition? I feel like I'm getting dumber reading your replies, so you should probably stop.

You think that ND fans are "trolling" on this thread? Really????

    Wow.

If your view is that he is not a very good passer, then nobody on this thread is disagreeing with you. We all know he could use improvement in that area..so move along..

LOL......move along? Maybe you should have done that when you started comparing Vince Young to Brett Favre!

    LOL +1

Or "when the coaching staff actually does their job."

Yes you have to have talent around you. But the before the game has ended the quarterback is going to have to make a play. Either with his feet or his arm.

So you are supposed to recruit the number 1 prospect in the nation.....NUMBER FREAKING ONE....who happens to be a QB and change his position on day one? That is something that you could have never done. Nobody does that to a #1 QB. This is not EA Sports NCAA football....you can't treat it like a video game. I find your comment very short sighted and impossible.

    LOL--138 (now 139) posts on whether or not TP is a good QB--the guy's a WINNER,and I'm damn glad he's a Buckeye...GO BUCKS!!!
  • Hb31187
^^ So were David Greene,Pat White and Ken Dorsey lol

Most of the posts arent whether hes a "good" qb, its about whether hes a top 3 QB. Id ask you, but judging from the 100 exclamation points after Bucks in your post ill assume you think so
  • devil1197
So in order to be a great college QB, you must pan out in the NFL?

    Ok.
  • vball10set
    Hb31187-to be honest,I don't think he's a top 3 QB,at least according to the criteria set here by some of our OC "experts"...as I said,he wins games-and that's all I care about

Nah you're right my bad. Hes top 3, hell hes probably #1. Prolific passer, excellent runner, rarely folds under pressure, legit heisman contender(deja vu when I say that, wonder why?)

I agree hes a winner, just not a top 3 QB.

I never said Pryor was a top 3, typical UM fans that cannot read simple posts. But you bring up some pretty damn good college QB's and act like they need to be great in the NFL to be considered great in college.

But last time I did check, Pryor is on the preseason heisman watch list. Like I said, if OSU runs the table and Pryor puts up good (not even great stats) he'll be invited to New York with a good shot of winning. That's how the system works.
  • Hb31187
Nah, but putting up great stats aside from Wins as a QB would help with people labeling you as a great QB. His stats arent exactly mind boggling, theyre a bit above average, aside from his rushing which is above average.

So basically what you're saying is, just because TP plays for a national powerhouse even if he puts up mediocre stats and OSU goes undefeated hell be invited to NY because hell be overrated by the media?

Dan Kendra III was the top qb prospect in the nation also the usa today offensive player of the year in high school. FSU eventually moved him to full back

    There's your difference, fishbulb.

You at least give the player a chance at the position they were ranked No. 1 at.

yea and that was whopping one start. i guess in tallahassee you have to earn the starting job, regardless of your high school achievements. not like in c-bus where they are just handed to you, dickweed.
