However, his own conversation and denial of Christ might lead one to believe that he started it in an effort to denounce any religion because of the non-acceptance of his sinful lifestyle.
If the seed has been planted, he has also been given the source of nourishment that he might be turned from such a life before too late! -

This is the funny thing about religion, I can't tell whether this guy is being serious or not! LMAO!Series62 wrote:

CenterBHSFanSQ, yes taunting. It goes hand in hand with mockery, insulting, etc.
..................
On a side note.
It's topics like this one where I wish Unique was still posting.
I think he could give much better insightful discussion than the OP, simply because he doesn't throw around worthless bashing. -
SQ_CraziesOh, well excuse me for making a mockery of a mockery...

John 14:5-6SQ_Crazies wrote: Ok, then enlighten me on the flavor of the week--how do you get into Heaven?
5-Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6-Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
It means that you must accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. That acceptance would then be revealed by your sincere attempt to live righteous, sin free life. Abiding in Him and allowing Him to abide in you. Because if you love Jesus, you will keep His commandments which are not grievous! -
Con_AlmaYou are forgiven.

SQ_Crazies
LMAO, did you really just use the word "abiding" in your post?Series62 wrote:

Yes, I am serious as I do not find my faith in Christ as something to joke about!SQ_Crazies wrote: This is the funny thing about religion, I can't tell whether this guy is being serious or not! LMAO!
And yes, I did use "abiding" in my post!
abide = to endure without yielding : withstand b : to bear patiently : tolerate <cannot abide such bigots> -
CenterBHSFanSQ,
No, you should have said "excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me!"
-
Con_AlmaWhat's wrong with the word "abiding"?
-
SQ_CraziesLOL, well since you're serious--you should consider stand up comedy because this:
..is the funniest thing I've read yet today, but the day is young...Series62 wrote: I would hope that is the reason he started this thread.

Hate the sin, love the sinner and all that, you know! -
Series62I'm missing your further attempts at ridicule on that one. What specifically do you find comical?

You still don't quite understand then if you think Christians believe they have to abide by certain things to get to heaven.SQ_Crazies wrote:
Allow me to rephrase then.
LOL @ people who think you have to abide by certain things to get into a place called Heaven but laugh at the idea of people getting 72 virgins for abiding by what they're told.
Heaven can not be obtained by "works" or doing good things, or having your "good" outweight your "bad". The Bible is QUITE clear on this.SQ_Crazies wrote: Ok, then enlighten me on the flavor of the week--how do you get into Heaven?Series62 wrote:

How in the hell do you expect me to explain that to you?! LOL, clearly you won't get it...Series62 wrote: I'm missing your further attempts at ridicule on that one. What specifically do you find comical? -

Hey, it's a step in the right direction!
Baby steps, you know! -
Con_AlmaI agree with you SQ. I don't understand the issue with the word.
-
Series62To "abide" in Jesus and to allow Jesus to "abide" in you is to say that you trust and have faith in Jesus to be the leader and guide you in your life, that you will live by the word of God.
You are in unity with Christ!
I'm still missing what you find funny, and I'm glad of it! -
SQ_Crazies
Well I was told that you don't have to abide by a good God fearing Christian, so I then asked how you get into Heaven and I was told you have to abide in Jesus.Con_Alma wrote: I agree with you SQ. I don't understand the issue with the word. -
Con_AlmaYou don't have to act a certain way but rather when you except Christ you tend to choose to attempt to act a certain way...even though you can't entirely.
-
SQ_CraziesI understand how "it works". Don't worry, I'm more educated on the topic than most who would be sitting in this thread with my stance right now. I also understand that religious people aren't used to questioning things.
-
Series62Like this; If F.K. sincerely accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, he would then begin studying God's word, the Bible, and realizing the sinful condition of his life, choose to live as a straight, heterosexual man, obeying the commandments of God! He would "abide" by the word of God!

I know it's dangerous to speak for others but I would bet that most "religious people" question their own faith constantly. It's a healthy process.SQ_Crazies wrote: I understand how "it works".
