Matty Ice easy he will be a top 10 point getter this year.Pick6;1272773 wrote:Big Ben or Matty Ice?
BR did you start Stafford or Joey 4 points? -
Pick6
I agree overall. Im just thinking about the matchups this week. Steelers at Jets with no Revis, or Ryan at Broncos with Porter and Bailey.gerb131;1272788 wrote:Matty Ice easy he will be a top 10 point getter this year.

gerb131I understand but with the weapons Ryan has I don't look too much in to the match ups.

Hope you went with Richardson.O-Trap;1271819 wrote:

T. Richardson (CLE) -- I admit it. I'm skittish after seeing that abysmal performance of the Browns in Week 1. Until the Browns can establish a passing game to keep defenses from stuffing eight in the box, I'm hesitant to expect much out of him, despite his otherwise big game potential.
K. Ogletree (DAL) -- It was only one game, and the guy is known for his inconsistency, but he did pretty much go ape nuts in Week 1. -

vball10setHad a great week #2, but need some advice for this week: Dalton vs. Redskins, Newton vs. Giants or Luck vs. Jag's?
-
IliketurtlesI would go with Newton against the Giants... that secondary is awful. Although Luck is pretty tempting hes been playing decent and I think he is going to have a huge game here soon.
Can I ask why in the world do you have 3 QBs on your team lol? -
O-Trap
Cam. Not only is the Giants defensive backfield suspect, but they're not going to be able to strictly play the pass when Cam drops back, because of his ability to run.vball10set;1273958 wrote:Had a great week #2, but need some advice for this week: Dalton vs. Redskins, Newton vs. Giants or Luck vs. Jag's? -
Raw Dawgin' it
lol why did you waste picks on a rookie and dalton?vball10set;1273958 wrote:Had a great week #2, but need some advice for this week: Dalton vs. Redskins, Newton vs. Giants or Luck vs. Jag's? -
vball10set^^^actually it worked out well--I started Newton last week and got good points, and then since Cinci was playing the Browns with a depleted backfield, I started Dalton and cleaned up. I figure I've got enough leeway to start any one of the three depending on who they play, and it also serves to keep the other guys in the league from having them...I know it's unconventional, but so far, so good
-
jmogSame quandry as last week...
All of them (save Marshall and Mathews) have scored well both weeks. I obviously am not sitting Ray Rice for any reason, so my other position options are:
Pick 4 (PPR):
M. Lynch (home vs GB)
R. Mathews (home vs ATL)
R. Wayne (home vs JAX)
S. Smith (home vs NYG)
AJ Green (away vs WAS)
B. Marshall (home vs STL)
I have to sit 2 of them and it doesn't matter which 2. I know, good problem to have right? Last week I sat Mathews (obviously) and Lynch (due to his back spasms). In the end Lynch ouscored all the WRs, but I still won as the WRs overall did quite well.
I'm thinking of sitting Mathews to give the old "wait and see" as I'm not desperate, and then picking one other. Smith may make it easier for me as he has a sore knee and is on a short week (plays Thursday) so he might not play.
Edit: I forgot, I am only allowed to start a max of 2 RBs, so I have to sit at least one of Lynch or Mathews, but I can sit them both and play all 4 WRs again like this past week. -
Iliketurtlesjmog- I would sit Mathews for sure and probably Smith because of his knee but if he is playing I might bench Lynch instead.
I am also really questioning myself right now as to who to start granted mine will be easier once I see my opponent's lineup(It just isn't about scoring points in my league.) But right now Im just debating on what WR to start basically. My league is PPR.
Nicks
Welker
LaFell
I have Bowe on my bench and I'm debating on whether or not to start him over Welker or LaFell. -
vball10set^^with Hernandez out, Welker's going to see even more balls coming his way...just sayin'

Lol one could only hope. But I guess you really haven't seen that the Pats have been sending a message by not giving him playing time/targets. He didn't even start the game on Sunday.vball10set;1274423 wrote:^^with Hernandez out, Welker's going to see even more balls coming his way...just sayin' -

Mon, Sep 17
Hernandez (right ankle) will miss a few weeks of action, ESPN.com reports. Recommendation: While a precise timetable for Hernandez's return has not been outlined, he won't play Sunday against the Ravens, with the report adding that he will likely not return until October at the earliest. With Hernandez unavailable, look for the Patriots to utilize more three-receiver sets in the meantime, an arrangement that helps the value of both Wes Welker and Julian Edelman.

How many do you need to pick? Nicks is a no-brainer in PPR. The Giants basically only have Nicks and Cruz, and they both get targeted a lot!Iliketurtles;1274415 wrote:jmog- I would sit Mathews for sure and probably Smith because of his knee but if he is playing I might bench Lynch instead.

TBone14Riddle me this one:
I need to start 2 of these 4:
Andre Brown vs CAR- If Bradshaw doesn't play, I think he is a must start.
AP vs SF- 9ers run defense doesn't allow touchdowns. Period.
Jonathan Stewart vs NYG- Giants defense is giving it up. Stewart caught a couple of balls, had 50 yards rushing and scored last week. I don't think he will have a huge game but I think he is a solid bet for 8-12 points.
Alfred Morris vs Cincy- -

Your running backs suck - what pick did you have to get such shitty backs?TBone14;1274811 wrote:Riddle me this one:

I'd go AP and Morris. -
RotinajReallllly thinking about sitting chris Johnson in favor of Morris Ridley and Law Firm. Bad idea? I'm 0-2 and really can't afford another horrific performance by CJ and these guys have all been solid.

AP and Alfred Morris.
Though keep in mind that the AP we're seeing isn't the same runner as he was in years past. Still, he's their go-to, so the touches will be there.
And Morris is turning out to be quite serviceable starting in fantasy leagues.
As for Andre, he wouldn't be a bad option, but I don't see him as quite as strong as the other two.
I'd go with Smith and A. Brown.gorocks99;1274903 wrote:Two of three for RB2 and Flex:
