The hidden donors to a prominent anti-Trump "resistance" organization are revealed in unredacted tax forms obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The Center for Community Change, a Washington, D.C.-based 501 (c)(3) progressive community organizing group that does not reveal its donors, has been involved in direct action against President Donald Trump and Republicans before and after the November elections. The organization's members sit on the boards of other prominent liberal activist groups.
The Free Beacon has obtained the group's unredacted 2015 tax forms that shed light on its funders, who provide millions of dollars in assistance. The group appears to rely heavily on a few major liberal foundations, organizations, and unions.

The Center for Community Change's largest contribution was $3,000,000 from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which was initially created by Will Kellogg, the food manufacturer and founder of Kellogg Company. The Ford Foundation added a $2,350,000 donation. The foundation was first created by the founders of the Ford Motor Company, but the company has had no affiliation with the foundation for nearly four decades. The Open Society Foundation, a foundation run by liberal billionaire mega-donor George Soros, gave $1,750,000 to the Center for Community Change.
Other donors to the organization include the California Endowment, which gave $524,500; the Marquerite Casey Foundation, which gave $515,000; Fidelity Charitable Gift, which donated $505,100; and the National Immigration Law Center, which gave $316,000.

    What's your point?
This is not earth shattering news. There are liberal and conservative organizations that fund the grass root base.
Heritage and Koch do the same damn thing on the other side and it's called freedom of speech.
Such is the nature of the K street and DC base "non profits"
  • QuakerOats
Was not making a point; was publishing the names of the big supporters of the progressive (aka marxist) movement.

This is fucking ridiculous. I don't buy into the theory that this will be no big deal: they'll get them medicated and treated. /sigh/

Yet, scrolling down the page on that link, public riders of buses could get fined for not buckling up. You couldn't make this stuff up.

A front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party USA has declared November 4, 2017, as the day their revolution to depose the "fascist Trump/Pence regime" begins. Soros-funded "Refuse Fascism" is calling on leftists across the nation to take to the streets and declare that the Trump presidency is "illegitimate."

Bring 'em on; the sooner they get their ass kicked, the better.

If you would get away from the right wing/conspiracy news sources, you'd maybe see that these fringe groups are like a flea on a butt hair. When they get an official news article from these "news" sources, it looks like the right wingers aren't able to see them for what they are.

Was talking with a friend just a few minutes ago. The general consensus is that between abortion and free HIV - the California dems are ahead of the population curve!

Actually, true liberals are also calling out these groups. It doesn't have as much "right wing conspiracy" garbage as you think.

Lol Cosmopolitan telling white people their kids shouldn’t dress up like Moana for Halloween. Heaven forbid a kid looks up to a girl of another race and wants to dress like her. People are stupid.

What I think,is,funny and a genuine problem for the left is that the stupid Cosmo article gets shared and shared among, the right by good soldiers like iclfan2 and the caricature gets attributed to the democrats and the otherwise normal left.

Tons of people talking about that Cosmo article that I've seen when it is something that a miniscule amount of democratic voters care about.

Nobody in Ottawa County, Ohio has ever said the phrase cultural appropriation.

It’s all part of the progressive problem (cultural appropriation isn’t an actual thing) and how media is a problem for the left.
Decent article on a former CEO from NPR and how media only talks about what they care about, which is far from what normal Americans care about. http://nypost.com/2017/10/21/the-other-half-of-america-that-the-liberal-media-doesnt-cover/

    From the above article:
the current situation in an odd way works for Trump, who gets to rile his base, and for the media, which has grown an audience on the back of Washington dysfunction. In the end, they are both short-term winners. It is the public that is the long-term loser.
I think that's a fairly accurate, although not complete, description of how things are now. The question now is - who will be the first to initiate change?

Good article. Too bad 99% of the media will never do what this guy did in order to find the truth.

A year after Trump's election, and the media and their liberal cheerleaders still have no idea why it happened. They should get them some more of that academic intelligentsia stuff :)

Don Lemon, CNN actor, (fake) cries on the air.

    Another new low.
he is just a CNN puppet doing what he is told by the producers of the network.

Maybe he was listening to a weepy John Legend song just beforehand.

Wait a sec - could it be? - Yes! I think he really IS John Legend in disguise!

For the first three minutes, until he suggests that race has something to do with the way Trump is acting, are all very true things. Trump frequently acts like a child in public (Twitter) and should accept that he doesn't have to "win" every single interaction he is involved in. I stopped watching after he said Trump only bullies black families. He bullies everyone who makes him look unfavorable.

All Trump had to say was something to the tune of "It wasn't my intention to hurt (insert gold star wife) and I now realize I chose my words poorly. (insert comment about service/hero/etc). My thoughts and prayers are with (insert gold star wife) and all others who have lost loved ones in war."

Trump is too much of a child and dumbass to do this though. Based on how he has handled all other similar situations, I don't think his intention was to offend the family of the fallen soldier though. You have to be very delicate with your words and he obviously failed with this particular widow.
