The two parties are an absolute train wreck. That they can't work together, at all, on the most significant issue (healtchare) of the past decade borders on treason.

The US House of Representatives have approved a $658 billion defense spending bill that includes $1.6 billion for the border wall between the US and Mexico. The entire measure included $27 billion more than what President Donald Trump had proposed.

Of course, merely with the election of Trump, illegal crossings are down 70%.

At the rate Trump is firing people, there won't be anyone left to staff a 2nd term.

I guess they were all tired of winning. I mean this is the most successful President since Lincoln, maybe since FDR, according to Trump amirite?

Maybe he ought to hire Lavar Bell. Those two are cut from the same cloth.

This is great news. Combine it with the recent hike in pay for the military and the recent funding bill for medical services for vets and we are doing the right thing for those who serve.

Zero chance he will be around for a second term.

He is good for my job security, but no way he wins again. Dems could put a bag of dicks to run against him and they will win.

“Pity the nation whose people are sheep,
    and whose shepherds mislead them.
Pity the nation whose leaders are liars, whose sages are silenced,
and whose bigots haunt the airwaves.
Pity the nation that raises not its voice,
except to praise conquerors and acclaim the bully as hero
and aims to rule the world with force and by torture.
Pity the nation that knows no other language but its own
and no other culture but its own.
Pity the nation whose breath is money
and sleeps the sleep of the too well fed.
Pity the nation — oh, pity the people who allow their rights to erode
and their freedoms to be washed away.
My country, tears of thee, sweet land of liberty.”

Her writing a book is hilarious to me. You're already rich af why do you want the negative publicity? Also you title it "What Happened" and the easy answer is you freaking happened.

Well, Ball is slightly more articulate and, at least by this stage of the game, more "with it" mentally, but I agree.

Page 1: I have less charisma than the average tree stump and struggle to even pretend I'm a flesh-and-blood human being.

Page 2: Oh yeah, no one trusts me to house-sit for a weekend, let alone run their country.

Well, or it will be the "Stupid Politard" tactic of talking down to people because, since you lost, they obviously don't know what's what.

The thing that's really funny is, there were probably a good 5-6 Repub candidates who should have wiped the floor with her. And this wasn't lost on the libtard media - which is how Trump got BILLIONS in free coverage. They were all patting themselves on the back for Trump getting nominated....right up until election night.

Another record high today for the Dow; it is good to see The People's 401k accounts winning.

    Sure.
But, I would caution that the President has limited impact on the stock market. Outside of large policy changes or acts of Congress (think the 2008 financial crisis), the markets do not care really who is in the White House.
I'll put it another way, if Trump is responsible for the stock market highs today, then Clinton was responsible for the stock market in the 90s, and Bush was to blame for the crash in 2008.

I guess even a blind pig can find an acorn once in a while. Trump is by far the most ill prepared, incompetent president our country has ever elected. If you think of every quality a great leader should have, Trump lacks them all. But I have to give him credit for one trial balloon he sent up during the campaign that could be useful now. He suggested encouraging South Korea and Japan to nuclear arm. At the time I thought it was insane. But today as North Korea develops ICBMs while China does nothing to stop them. The threat of a nuclear armed South Korea might motivate the Chinese to take some real action to curb Kim Jong In.

Trump has had nothing to do with that. Presidents don't drive the stock market.

Maybe not Trump directly, but more to do with an end to Hillary and Obama's "third term".
