Impressed by Trump administration

supermanLots of questions surfacing about this woman.
1. Her Visa expired, why was she allowed in the US?
2. Why was seen 8 days after the meeting at am event with the Russian ambassador?
3. Her archived Facebook shows a lot of hate for Trump, why was she suddenly willing to help him? -

He is not 'my boy'. What is certain, is that actual evidence of collusion exists between Clinton/obama and Ukrainian officials, with Trump as the target. It is kind of hard to go after Trump, when he was being victimized by real collusion. -

The more information that comes out, the more it appears Natalia V was in bed with Clinton/obama. I hope they keep digging; this is like another CNN backfire. -

Jr. seemed like a reasonably smart guy...but after reading that email it screamed set-up. A lawyer, a pop star and a talent agent.
Is that the cruxt of who Jr. dealt with concerning this latest thing?
But of course if somebody wants to give you something damaging to Clinton you'd take the meeting. But that email is such a Democratic wet dream "we have.....secret documents....from Russia....because Russia wants your dad to win". Nobody writes like that, especially if dealing with criminal acts. -

I was wondering if anybody would get what I was trying to say lol! Appears she had a perfectly valid reason to be in the US. And I'd guess these "extraordinary" cases are actually fairly common. I would assume this doesn't even get close to Loretta Lynch because there are probably thousands of these grants a year. -

Yes everything has a bias but NPR doesn't have a liberal bias unless anything to the left of overt conservative editorialism is considered to have a liberal bias - a proposition which is absurd IMHO. Maybe it's "established norms" bias and if you consider established norms to be anti-conservative well then it is a claim that can't be countered. New media is just fine with me but the existence of overt and clear political bias in new forms of media does not mean there are not media sources which have other biases aside from primarily political biases.majorspark;1861669 wrote:All of the press is inherently biased to one extent or another. Always has been because it is made up of human beings who in order to be unbiased would have to harness their personal beliefs in order to deliver "straight" news. That against the executives who lord over them. The idea that the elimination of the profit margin and media competition will eliminate bias is flawed. In fact history proves the opposite.
The 1st amendment protection of the freedom of the press has at its heart the protection of opinionated news not "straight" news. Yes "fake news" existed in the 18th century. The founders believed that the individual should have all opinions/news available and be trusted to make judgement for themselves.
One thing I have never done is discount an opinion citing a supposedly biased news source. I'll dispute in on the facts if warranted. Sometimes even the most biased of media outlets contain a nugget a reasonable individual can toss on his balance when weighing the truth. I for one do not miss the days of waiting for Peter Jennings @ 6:30 or Ted Koppel @ 11:30. Be thankful. Some of you people do not remember the days of the big media monopoly.
As for NPR they offer some straight news and I will listen and weigh them in the balance. Yet they fired one of my favorite "liberal" commentators who though I often disagree I greatly valued his opinions for running afoul of political correctness. Point is they are not a neutral entity just because they are publically funded. No one is public or private.
Moreover, the founders passed the alien and sedition acts - laws that tyrannically outlawed free expression in ways that would be unimaginable today. -
BoatShoesToday, despite his desire not to do so, Donald Trump rejected a campaign promise and followed the advise of H.R. McMaster, Rex Tillerson, SecDef Mattis and Gen. Dunford chair of the Joint Chiefs and agreed to certify and preserve the Iran Nuclear Deal.
Way to go Donald Trump! His instinct was to ignore the people who know what they were talking about but hey...at the end of the day...he ended up listening to the non-insane when the chips were down!
Put extra ketchup on that steak tonight Mr. President - you deserve it! -
QuakerOatsNew Survey: Manufacturers' Optimism at Highest Two-Quarter Average.
According to the latest NAM survey, manufacturers’ optimism remains high. In March, the NAM’s Manufacturers’ Outlook Survey revealed a record number of respondents (93.3 percent) expressed a positive outlook for their companies. New survey results released this week show that 89.5 percent of respondents are either somewhat or very positive, resulting in the highest two-quarter average in the survey’s history (91.4 percent). According to 80 percent of manufacturers surveyed, the president’s actions on regulations are headed in the right direction, with more than half saying these actions will allow them to expand operations, increase investment and add workers. Still, the rising cost of health insurance was cited as a major concern by nearly 75 percent. Attracting and retaining a quality workforce was cited by 64 percent as a primary challenge. If pro-growth tax reform is enacted, however, respondents believe it would lead to even greater growth: 67 percent would expand operations, 58 percent would hire more workers, and 70 percent would increase spending. -
QuakerOatsTrump Administration Outlines Plans To Eliminate Hundreds Of Regulations. The Washington Post (7/20, Eilperin, Paletta) reports that OMB on Thursday described “how it would jettison hundreds of existing or planned regulations as part of its larger push to ease federal restrictions on the private sector.” The agency issued a list that “shows the extent to which this administration is determined to erase many of the Obama administration’s policy priorities.” In all, the Administration “said it was pulling or suspending 860 pending regulations” including 469 that “were being completely withdrawn” and 391 that were “being set aside or reevaluated.” The article adds cites the survey, saying “Manufacturers have also hailed these moves: in the National Association of Manufacturers’ most recent survey of its members, 80 percent say that Trump’s ‘actions on regulation are headed in the right direction.’”
The Washington Times (7/20, Boyer) reports that OMB Director Mulvaney “accused the Obama administration...of keeping a ‘secret list’ of proposed regulations during Mr. Obama’s eight-year regulatory onslaught against businesses.” According to Mulvaney, 179 of the “860 rules or proposed rules that the Trump administration has killed...came from what he called Mr. Obama’s ‘secret’ list.” Mulvaney said, “They had a bunch of things that they wanted to regulate. ... They just didn’t want to tell you about it. They thought it would be bad for their re-election prospects in 2012, so they created a secret list of regs that were not disclosed to you folks. We are disclosing it.”
In addition, in a column for the Petersburg (VA) Progress-Index (7/20), Virginia State Sen. Frank Ruff (R) writes that a report issued in September 2016 by the NAM and the Virginia Manufacturers Association found that “regulations created over the years of the Obama administration will cost businesses over $80 billion.” The article quotes NAM Senior Vice President of Policy and Government Relations Aric Newhouse saying, “These regulations are making it harder for manufacturers to continue to create jobs and economic opportunity.” -
