Salto wont answer the question of what is a fair income tax. Just like every Democrat ever. THey wont answer it because their number is ridiculous.

Salto I will take your bait and tell what I think: I think that different tax rates are a joke. Everyone should pay something equal. Federal "income" tax should be something around 10% for every person in the US. You earn $15,000 a year you pay $1500, you earn $100,000 a year you pay $10,000 a year and so on.

So what is your number? Remember people are taxed at state and local also.

About consumption.......the more you spend the more you are taxed. Simple.
Something between 10-15% sounds fair. I also have no problem with consumption tax varying.

Do you agree that Ronnie and Bush are responsible for the robbery of Social Security to fund their wars?

Getting back to the last page conversation, I call bullshit. Doesn't your health insurance being a teacher cover you and family? Why did you need Obamacare?

I have not seen a pay raise in almost 8 years.....insurance increases every year eat it all up. My wife lost her insurance years ago.....i have not talked to a retired teacher in years that can retire and not work. Insurance is $600 a month for a retired teacher. Yea thanks Dems.

Yes it is. There are SO many issues it's not even worth my time. Absolute nightmare for people to record, calculate and categorize, much less enforce and audit.

What has generally been proposed is a flat consumption tax with a progressive tax on wages (so excluding savings and investment income). That is much more workable.

Or yourself. Doesn't see a wage increase in 8 years, does nothing about it.

You have to appreciate the irony of a person who allegedly subscribes to conservative views bitching about his work situation without actually doing anything to personally improve it. Sounds like someone needs a bunch of entitlements sent his way!

Sweet. The moment the market takes a dive, I'm blaming Trump, cause we all know, the market eventually goes down.

The Nebraska Public Service Commission on Monday voted to allow the construction of the $8 billion Keystone XL pipeline, which is expected to create more than 42,000 jobs and generate $2 billion in economic benefits.

Change we can [really] believe in ...

Market corrections take place every few years. This huge run up is not an artificial bubble. Its a correction of 8 years of terrible government policy. Dems were to stupid to understand they stifled the economy.

On infrastructure, the prevailing thought in industry circles is, we'll believe it when we see it.
He has said it is coming now for a year now.
  • QuakerOats
Fighting bureaucracy ....... if he wins again with infrastructure, along with everything else, he may win again in '20.

That will send D.C. and all libs over the cliff.

    Trump rally rolls on

Besides making the ceremony all about himself (as usual) with his Pocahontas crack, it was interesting how Trump chose to give the code talkers their recognition and award in front of the president who signed the Indian Removal Act. Always has to make his power play.

3 Navaho Code talkers, Donald Trump and Andy Jackson, what a great photo opportunity
