    As for underprivileged ... what? LiAngelo Ball's dad is worth $4MM, he's getting college paid for, he'll probably get at least one NBA contract (he is the least talented of the three Ball kids), and he gets national media attention and star treatment.

    Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying he's never had to deal with discrimination or anything, but "underprivileged" might be the wrong word for it.

    LOL! Cody Riley is from Chatsworth, CA. I don't know what house is his, but the odds are good that he wouldn't qualify as "underprivileged" either, just like pretty much everyone else from Chatsworth.

    And Jalen Hill is from Corona, CA. Still a pretty decent place to live.

    But hell, even if they'd grown up in Compton, they're still celebrities now. He's helping kids who are getting college paid for and who have star power.

    I'm not saying he shouldn't have done it, but let's hold off on pretending this was to help "underprivileged minority youth."

    I assume this has to do with the scoring necessary to pass this via budget reconciliation. The future tax increases get you there, but of course someone else will come along and then want to lower those taxes.

    It wouldn't matter if you had a balanced budget amendment. Of course, failing that you could have a cap on a debt ceiling (which is so worthless they might as well just permanently get rid of it).

    A) If it happened four years ago, it'd be "why is Obama wasting time negotiating the release of over-privileged, entitled, spoiled athletes!"
    B) OP continually brags about boycotting the NFL when a handful of players consistently peacefully protest, but praises Trump for getting athletes who actually committed a crime released.

    I'm not a Trump leg humper but keeping three young men out of communist work camp is a good thing. Maybe if Obama had cared as much about white people, Otto Warmbier would still be alive.

    Oh cool I was hoping someone would make irrelevant comparisons between prisoners in China and North Korea, bring up Obama (and his disliking for whites?), and seriously suggest those three were going to prison. Also, the bolded part is probably wrong.
