I recall gut numerous times saying he would vote for Hillary if it mattered in his state. I don't think voting for Hillary as the lesser of two evils makes you libertarian, but he definitely wasn't going all in on the GOP presidential candidate. -

As for "taking America back", the white working class may have been tired of being caught in the middle of the have's and have not's, but if you look at Trump's tax plan floating around it once again soaks the middle class. -

Hillary Clinton said Monday on Bloomberg News that President Donald Trump has "tendencies toward authoritarianism," adding that she hopes he has not "ordered the killing of people and journalists" as Russian President Vladimir Putin has been accused of doing.
During a conversation with Charlie Rose, she compared Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose relationship with Trump has particularly drawn scrutiny from Democrats and the media. Clinton discussed her ideas on Trump's view of democracy, saying she "hopes" the president is not exactly like Putin in every way.
"I don’t think he really values democracy, Charlie," Clinton said.
"He doesn’t value democracy? Rose asked. "So he’s not a ‘democrat,’ little ‘d?'"
Clinton replied, "No, he’s not, he’s a top-down guy."
"He’s an authoritarian?" Rose asked.
"He has tendencies toward authoritarianism," Clinton answered.
"So, he’s no different than Putin?" Rose asked.
Clinton did not say Trump was different from the Russian autocrat, instead saying he "hopefully" does not commit the same crimes as Putin.
"Well, hopefully he hasn’t ordered the killing of people and journalists and the like," Clinton replied.
Putin’s government uses strict regulation and state power to restrict press freedom, and reports have shown cases where journalists, who had been critical of the Russian leader, died under suspicious circumstances. Clinton may have been referring to stories published in outlets such as the New Yorker, New York Times, and National Review that assign guilt to Putin in those cases.
During her campaign, Clinton frequently took digs at Trump’s statements about Putin, in which he called for improved relations with Russia. Clinton tried to do the same thing as secretary of state in the Obama administration, but she has since moved from that dovish position.
Since losing the 2016 election, she has said Trump likely colluded with the Russians to win the presidential election.
"There certainly was communication and there certainly was an understanding of some sort," she said in an interview earlier in September.
Clinton’s appearance on "Charlie Rose" coincides with the recent release of her campaign book, What Happened. In the book, she called Trump a "creep" and described Russian involvement as a major reason why she unfairly lost the election. -

I'll add to your assertions the fact that if she couldn't go on stage and thank her supporters when she lost the election - like every other presidential loser has done - then I sure as hell don't want her to make tough decisions in the name of our country. Hillary's qualification/accomplishment and political career can be summed up pretty succinctly: she played the "woman card" on top of Bill's coattails. -

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has offered to provide evidence that the Russian collusion narrative is false in exchange for a pardon from President Trump.
The president, apparently, has not yet gotten the message. On Saturday, President Trump told reporters that he has "never heard" of Assange's offer to make a deal.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) told The Daily Caller that Trump is being blocked from knowing about the potential deal with Assange. “I think the president’s answer indicates that there is a wall around him that is being created by people who do not want to expose this fraud that there was collusion between our intelligence community and the leaders of the Democratic Party,” Rohrabacher said.
"The congressman spoke to chief of staff John Kelly two weeks ago about the potential deal with Assange," The Daily Caller reported. "The Wall Street Journal reported that Kelly told Rohrabacher to bring the information to the intelligence community."
“This would have to be a cooperative effort between his own staff and the leadership in the intelligence communities to try to prevent the president from making the decision as to whether or not he wants to take the steps necessary to expose this horrendous lie that was shoved down the American people’s throats so incredibly earlier this year,” Rohrabacher said.
Rohrabacher called the collusion narrative "a massive propaganda campaign" and "historic con job" meant to conceal the ideological conspiracy between the intelligence community and the Democrat party.

Not that I think there wasn't some seriously shady shit with the Obama administration....but I could see Assange playing/using Trump here. Assange has been saying this stuff for a while, without showing his evidence, and now all of a sudden he's attaching demands and conditions to it.
A lot of people - on both sides of the aisle - have very valid and defensible views that Assange belongs in prison for a long time. Presidential pardons really aren't supposed to be used for quid pro quo or to give someone a pass for breaking the law just because you like them.
Most likely, since Trump has already broken with the tradition of handing out pardons at the end of a term, they'll save this one for when they need a nice, big juicy distraction. -

Humorously, I was watching the episode of The Wire last night where Bunk is trying to find the lost gun of Dozerman and is talking to criminals in jail who are offering to help. This reminds me of the one guy who was like, "I might have something that'll help you...if you make some of these murders go away." When asked how many murders, he holds up four fingers. I laughed. I'm laughing even more now that I get to see the white-coller computer version of this going on! -

However, when you're Julian Assange you don't get to leverage the "truth" for personal gain, because the "truth" is how you justified breaking the many laws you did. It just makes him a giant hypocrite, that's all.
