Maybe in your world, but here with the rest us, Clinton won more than one state.
Stop thinking this was a blowout. It was not.

IF EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR ONE CANDIDATE DIDN'T HAVE THEIR VOTES COUNTED, THE OTHER CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE WON BY A REAL FUCKING LANDSLIDE!!!!!

Good point too. Something must happen to you when you cross the Sierra Nevada.

I'll say it again, while I think Trump is an embarassment and his conduct since winning has only solidified that opinion, I nevertheless think his admin will pursue policies more closely aligned with what I think would be good for America in some key areas than say, a Paul Ryan adminstration, and that Republicans would actually go along with them because he was elected as a Republican.

That said, I fully endorse Ohio's 18 electors being the tipping point and voting for John Kasich and having Paul Ryan win in the House of Representatives.

I realize this is a fantasy but Hamilton is my favorite founding father. Let's prove him right - that the electoral college would not rubber stamp the people being deceived by a buffoonish Demagogue.

To be sure, if everything goes as we expect and certify Trump, Hamilton will have been proven wrong.

Save us from 4 years of embarassment! Paul Ryan for President!

So you draw the line at BUFFOONISH demagogue, and not just a demagogue like Obama?

I realize you really can't stand Obama but I would not consider him a demagogue and neither would most people IMHO. Of course you will find exceptions among those with a conservative frame of reference.

Indeed, Obama in his campaigning appealed to universalism. In some aspects he has not really governed that way.

I would actually suggest that Hillary's campaign engaged in more demagoguish tactics targeted at segments in the Obama coalition than Obama's campaign.

Your disdain for Obama is unique in its intensity but surely you see how he is different than Donald Trump.

I would definitely argue that Obama was/is a demagogue. He was, after all, a community organizer. When he first came into the picture, I didn't even know what a community organizer did or was. But by pure definition and examples, it leaves no doubt whatsoever of his demagoguery.

    LOL, maybe Democrats.

He was definitely a demagogue. "If I had a son...." "Obstructionists"...."You didn't build that"...."Financial terrorists"....."guns and bibles".....just a quick and small sample of the near constant demagoguery from him and his surrogates. It sure as hell wasn't Trump that created the toxic environment that carried him to power.

I can see how you might think that. I humbly disagree. I believe out of touch elitism is a more apt discription for these examples. I agree it contributed to the creation of a toxic environment wherein people would be receptive to a demagogue in reponse to a snooty elitism.

Community organizing would probably be good training for a demagogue. I can see how reasonable people might consider Obama a demagogue - particularly those who disagreed with his policy choices because he was dismissive of people who thought differently. I personally feel this is different. It seems to me Obama's initial claim was for a shared universalism (e.g. his "There are no red states and blue states, only the Unitrd States.") In practice, after his election more and more examples came to light to reveal that that sort of universalism that he preached was not what he practiced (IMHO).

While not desirable, seems it is different than Trump IMHO.

Uhh he wrote fuck Trump on the church to frame a "white supremacist" hate crime. It's like you and every radical liberal are upset these crimes are turning out to be hoaxes. Pathetic to say the least.
  • iclfan2
Did anyone see the douchebag "Muslim" who pretended he got thrown off a plane for speaking Arabic today? He's a known Youtube hoaxer. You should see the responses of people hating on Delta, White people, etc. Fucking retards believe anything on the internet. And it's amazing how hated white people are and how blatant people are about it.

The whole point is people like you are freaking out at hate crime numbers (even though raw data shows a minuscule increase) and you automatically assume it's coming from white bigots who support trump. I won't be shocked to see more of these stories turning out to be bullshit. It's a shame too, because real hate crime is sickening, and these people are faking it to rile other people up. Sad.

The irony of you bringing up faulty logic...

It was the word of the year by the Oxford Dictionary. I'm not even sure what you're trying to prove. Liberals hiding under your bed trying to tell you that you can't say merry christmas anymore?
