That's it for the day boys, I've worn out my political bones.
There's also a difference in the refinement process. Oil from the middle east is much less expensive to refine than oil from other areas.

    That is quite true.

This explains why our government and private industry are still willing to "deal" with the the political and/or religious turmoil embroiling the Middle East.

As long as we continue to see positive economic benefits to extracting our oil from the Middle East rather than the vast domestic supplies at our disposal, we will continue to deal with the extremes of Islamic fascism dominating the region.

Plus our own environmental extremists serve to discourage, via governmental laws and edict, any realistic interest in finding and developing more economic and environmentally responsible means of tapping into domestic oil supplies.

As long as these hold true, we will have to resign ourselves to dealing with the inevitable and guaranteed violence (IE: wars) inherent to relying on the Middle East for the energy required to drive our economy.

What a well thought out response.

"they are a threat" ......they're pretty much a threat to anyone not subservient to salafist ideology.

One of the largest concentrations of ISIS sympathizers is in Dearborn, MI today. And you can damn well believe the Somali populations in Minneapolis and Columbus are loving the collapse of the US backed Shi'ite govt in Baghdad. The world is different than it was when the Irish, Italians, Germans, Chinese & Slavs came in the 1800s to build America. It's time to shut the doors tight people. Don't even let Muslims visit because they're like termites and burrow in and never leave.

Tiernan: I'm pretty sure France is dealing with a growing Muslim population. In the case with France, I'm almost positive families moved into France, exploited their welfare system, and bred like rabbits.

of course, according to the deniers, there are no WMD's or al Qaeda in Iraq.

Bizarre times we have, disasters abroad, economic disaster at home, criminal scandal after criminal scandal from the most lawless regime, but all that really matters - to the progressives and the liberal media - are gay rights and the Redskins.

    We are sooooo screwed.

I never said there is No al Queda in Iraq now. I was saying there wasn't any when Bush thrust us into war in Iraq. When sadam was in control, He killed everyone he thought or perceived to be a threat.

    From your article
We remain concerned about the seizure of any military site by the ISIL," Jen Psaki, the State Department spokeswoman, said in a written statement. "We do not believe that the complex contains CW materials of military value and it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to safely move the materials."

It is common knowledge. Oil from the middle east is light sweet crude (and also from Nigeria). It is the highest quality of oil and thus is easier to refine.

If you like it, regardless of what 'it' may be, it stands for liberty, justice, and great American patriots. If you don't like it, it stands for liberal commie boogedey boo boo.
One of the minor setbacks of having your site's most ardent supporter of all that justice and freedom actually being painfully and blindly partisan.

    Fine, I'll provide a source: http://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.cfm?id=7110

Sour crude is more common in the Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, South America, and Canada. Crude produced by OPEC Member Nations also tends to be relatively sour, with an average sulfur content of 1.77%.

Yeah, so Middle east oil is more about quantity than quality.

“The IRS tea-party audit story isn't Watergate; it's worse than Watergate,” according to deputy Wall Street Journal editorial page editor Daniel Henninger.
“The Watergate break-in was the professionals of the party in power going after the party professionals of the party out of power. The IRS scandal is the party in power going after the most average Americans imaginable,” he added.

Makes Watergate look like a playground game of tag. Jail 'em.

Paul Ryan finally grows a pair:

    http://www.althouse.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/you-ask-taxpayers-to-hang-on-to-seven.html

It is inconceivable that the IRS doesn't retain records of e-mails. They are most certainly backed up on an outside or cloud server. They certainly expect us taxpayers to keep our records. And banks and pharma companies have to be able to produce all internal documentation. This is the worst lie the administration has presented - no one should be gullible enough to believe the government on this.

Honestly, I think Romney/Ryan tried to run a cleaner, more "Presidential" campaign. Who knew the mob wanted British parliament style yelling and mudslinging?

Increasingly, the liberals and their leftist buddies in the media are trying to kill debate and make it all about emotional appeals, because they win the emotional arguments.

That's not how they are voting. Obama and Hillary remain two of the most "popular" politicians in America, and no one rivals their ability to deflect and obfuscate. W was a pretty straight shooter, aside from overselling the WMD intel as "100% certainty"...not to diminish that big "deception", but he remains villified and hated by about half the country.

Honestly, after George W I never imagined a POTUS would get away with routinely claiming he didn't know or dismissing every "scandal" as something manufactured by Fox News (as if O'Reilly himself erased Lerner's hard drive).

Bush was justifiably raked over the Katrina debacle. But you look at the IRS or Benhazi, among other issues, and this administration largely gets a pass. If the Commander-in-Chief is not accountable, then who the fuck is running the country?!?

They aren't voting that way, because as you said Romney/Ryan wanted to run on a clean presidential campaign. Fuck that shit, I hope next candidate goes for Hillary's throat.

AUDIENCE GASPS As IRS Commissioner Admits Missing Lois Lerner Hard Drive Was Trashed...

    Won't apologize...

    PAUL RYAN: 'Nobody believes you'...

    Issa calls White House attorney...

    'Time for a special prosecutor?'

If the press wasn't comprised of 90% liberal shills in obama's back pocket, these crooks would be in jail by now. And this is just one of at least a dozen criminal scandals thrust upon The People by this regime.
  • gut
That's really not surprising. This pre-dates any investigation or even when Lerner disclosed it (July 2012?). Why would they keep a failed hard drive, recoverable or not (you wouldn't even attempt recovery if there was nothing critical)?

Nor should it have mattered. I find it very difficult to believe that critical information, including emails, are not stored on a server and backed-up at least daily.
