Disgusted With Obama Administration.

The original legislation, if I recall, has no severability built into it -- so for a court to simply assume such is wrong. Hopefully, the Supremes see this for the unConstitutional cluster it is and throw it out.

It doesn't matter either way. Without the Mandate, the whole law falls apart...that's why they didn't write severability into it. The administration is on record saying as much.

Along with being the greatest debt creator in the history of the world, obama is also the greatest food stamp president we have ever had. What a legacy.

We're all to blame. We can blame the media all we want but we're the ones that submit ballots - what kind of megalomaniac utters these words? Absolutely vapid and our country (and Europe) bought into it. We deserve the government we elect, we deserve this.

Amen. I've been saying this for years. Votes matter.

We should be accountable for who we vote in. Instead, we seem to like to place blame. I guess it's easier that way.
  • Writerbuckeye
I'll take my share of the blame when I deserve it. On this rare occasion :) I do not. I saw through this scam artist from the get-go, and vehemently argued against electing him based on his lack of experience alone. Now Congress? Yeah, like very other American, I take my share of blame for the idiots who have not done what they were supposed to do when they got to DC.

He claims he's for jobs, and then when there is a potential sale of 66 fighter jets to an ALLY, he won't approve the sale. Because...wait for it...you know the answer....ahem....
Taiwan has repeatedly asked Washington to agree to sell it the advanced F-16 fighter jets, citing the need to counter the growing military strength of China, which views the island as a breakaway province.

China cut off ties with the U.S. military for most of last year to protest an American arms package for Taiwan. While other deals were possible, sources following the issue said they believed Washington would probably opt against the sale of new F-16s. "If the Obama administration goes this way, as expected, then it's a political decision," said Rupert Hammond-Chambers, president of the U.S.-Taiwan Business Council, which supports the sale of new fighter jets to Taiwan.

Sorry, strategic stability with China trumps F-16s to Taiwan. And we have restarted talks with China on military talks at a high level.
The other portions of post, yeah I agree, the President is pretty bad on jobs.

He is going for infrastructure type jobs and he will want the government to create jobs.

Why is there a wait in the first place? If there is a plan why not release it now? Is it messing up with his Martha's Vineyard trip? Does he even want this job? This is the most tone deaf administration ever.

Or at least the Feds know the hand that feeds their deficit spending plus China's money trumps their aircraft carrier.

BHO is in dire need of a vacation and a few rounds of golf so he can come back rested and announce more taxpayer-funded shovel ready bullshit just in time to launch his re-election bid.

That's what they should have fucking done in the first place. Hopefully their idea of infrastructure isn't more empty parking lots outside of bridges to nowhere.

So, we're beholden to the communist Chinese for a myriad of reasons, so we turn our backs on the republic of Taiwan. So if China annhilated Taiwan, Barry would have their back. What have we become?

You mean the carrier from the 1970s from Eastern Europe, that does not have a doctrine behind it or planes that can really launch from it? Sure. China can dump all the money into that thing.

It's not like Taiwan is defenseless. They already have tons of U.S. military equipment, training, and even are involved in US missile defense efforts. It's just Taiwan wants the best and newest U.S. equipment when it actually does more harm than good. Gates was really against the last shipment, but got pushed by Congress.
Besides, the long term policy between Taiwan and the U.S. has not changed since the 1950s.

In another absolutely disgusting move by Obama, he apparently no longer feels he must enforce federal law and has instructed his administration to stop all deportations of illegal immigrants. Back door amnesty, just in time for an election cycle. Completely disgusting, this is a slap in the face to all Americans and all those legal aliens who follow the correct process to come to this country.

P.S. before anyone gets pissy about the source, use Google and you can find the store everywhere.

Nothing like the chief executive, who's main function is to make sure the laws the Congress inacts are carried out, saying to not carry out the laws.

So he is refusing to do his job...interesting.
  • Writerbuckeye
You knew it was only a matter of time before his true colors on immigration became more obvious. He blatantly lied about healthcare reform not covering illegal aliens, and a certain S. Carolina Rep. got his ass chewed out publicly for shouting, "You lie" when he said it. Now we know the truth -- Obama did lie.

That and now refusing to deport illegals are just more examples that he's deliberately ignoring the things he swore to do when he took the oath of office.

I'll wait to hear how amnesty for all is Reagan-esque and how that far right wing zealot McCain was for it before he was against it.

Is a President refusing to enforce federal law an impeachable offense? Did he not place his left hand on a bible and raise his right, pledging to uphold and enforce the constitution and federal laws?

Gov. Jan Brewer always has a little something nice to say whenever the subject of Obama's disastrous immigration policy comes up:

The POTUS doesn't enforce the laws; he executes them. In other words he has the authority to approve or veto the laws the legislative branch sends his way.

The judicial system enforces the law.
