Disgusted With Obama Administration.

    Unbelievable. And this President has the audacity to speak to us and tell us how the Republicans want to steal Social Security checks, kill Medicare, and throw grandma to the curb.

    By eliminating the, "Director of African-American Media", the country saves $78,000 + benefits BTW - Don't we already have communications czars appointed?
    By eliminating the "Deputy Ass't to the President for Energy and Climate Change, the country saves $140,000 + benefits BTW - isn't this also covered by one of his appointed czars?
    He has a director of scheduling and a director of the travel office. Why can't this be the same position? Eliminates another $75,000 + benefits.
    He has a "Deputy Director". WTF is that?

    I know someone will reply that it's only $250,000, so it's not even a drop in the ocean.

    THIS is largesse. THIS is why people get pissed off at those that say there's nothing to cut. THIS is why the TEA Party exists. THIS is how it starts and grows exponentially. THIS is a government out of its mind when it comes to spending. Want to get madder? Moochelle has nearly the same staff as Apple posted above.

    So what's your point? Doesn't our First Lady also need taxpayer funded assistants to help plan her Spanish vacations, entertain celebrities, and lecture us on proper eating habits?

    I think we need a Nationally Mandated law, that says if you dont eat your broccoli, you go to jail.

    CAREFUL what you wish for. If ObamaKare is eventually ruled Constitutional, then they can mandate the citizenry to do ANYTHING that pleases the government. I have a feeling some of those that stand 100% behind ObamaKare would balk at being mandated to buy exercise equipment/buy a gym membership, define caloric intake maximums, or restrict what foods would be available for purchase, etc.

    Well, he does need to know what the weather will be, so he can get 18, or 36 holes in on the weekend.

    To your second point,,,, I never thought of that. A great jobs creation idea. maybe even get an eating committee regulation union. we need more unions, they create fair wages and keep jobs in our country.

    Without the Feds spending millions of taxpayer dollars on frivolous, nonsensical, and wasteful "research" to nanny our asses from pre-birth to the grave, you have the audacity of telling us that individual choice and common sense are basically free?

    Every First Lady, going back as far as I can remember, has had a "pet project". They have been free to pursue these projects for as long as I can remember. Ladybird Johnson's was beautifying America. Nancy Reagan's was the war on drugs. Laura Bush spoke out in favor of literacy programs. Now Michelle Obama is trying to do something concerning childhood obesity and now it's no longer OK for a sitting First Lady to pursue her project. While I can understand where that comes from, I can only shake my head that many of you are so blatant about it.

    These are tough economic times coupled to record breaking federal deficits, my friend.

    The Prez and his wife ought to be setting the example. When the Prez stops chowing down on hot dogs and his wife stops taking extravagant Spanish vacations on the public dole, I'll stop criticizing Michelle's "pet project."

    The Obama's blatant disregard for common sense in this situation opens them up to the scrutiny...and rightfully so.

    You're wasting reason and logic on someone who doesn't recognize it -- the fact that he went straight for the racism charge proves it.

    The Obamas have repeatedly displayed a lack of tact and sensitivity when it comes to flaunting the perks of the presidency during tough economic times. I think it goes with the sense of entitlement they both grew up with, and was fostered by people inflating already well developed egos from the moment they stepped into the limelight.

    Being the subjects of all that fawning is probably exhausting, though, don't you think? Perhaps that's why they take all these trips and he golf so much.

    She can push whatever agenda she wants to push. She can take any torch and hold it high. She can do her "anti-obesity" shtick from here to Juneau. That is all good.

    What you failed to comprehend, and what other Obama-bots fail to recognize, is that she has an entourage of 35 to 40 people making hundreds of thousands of dollars (PLUS benefits), totalling millions per year, to meet her every whim, schedule her every facial, comb each and every hair on her head, and basically be her BITCH...ALL AT TAXPAYERS EXPENSE. Get it yet? Why is she so deserving of a 35+ person staff ALL AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE??? That's my point. We are out of money. We don't have the ability to fund her entourage. We are flat out busted and broke. Get it yet?

    Think of it this way....our government is literally having your children and grandchildren fund her staff and entourage because we are OUT OF MONEY and these people are funded ALL AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE. Or try this one...the Chinese are the sponsors of Moochelle's staff and entourage. Our First Lady is at the beck and call of the goddam Chinese. Feel good about that? Got it yet?

    To come on here and equate her do-gooder ramblings with others whom did the same things at a fraction of her cost is to not understand that our country is OUT OF MONEY. At what point will the lack of funding, the lack of taxpayer money, and the generational theft kick in your skull to see that it's not THAT she is pushing an agenda, but that she is out of TAXPAYER MONEY to do it with. But she doesn't care, I call her out on here, and I'm the bad guy. So be it.
