I think the Mifflin kid is tough and I think the Indepenence kid is tough, but I don't know anyone that they wrestle during the year. Patrick has had some pretty big winds this year.
The Budgett kid from Mifflin won the Northridge tourney at 160 beating Fooce from JA who is currently ranked 3rd in the dispatch poll D2. He also beat Scott from Hartley who is a returning DQ. He missed a couple tourneys due to an injury but since his return has been on a mission
By switching to computerized scoring will they change how they score it? -
80babyEverything will be updated automatically once match results are input into the system. The main thing now is to make sure that the winner and official make sure that the match card is correct. Also it's not a bad ideal for coaches to check team scores when dealing with premium points.

PopKatlowsingle174;652064 wrote:I saw results where waits is at 140. If that is the case, that could be the best weight class in the tourney. I hope everyone decides to put their kids at 140. It would be great.
What is the deal with this guy? Who has he won against this year? How many wins, any good finishes in quality tournaments, what grade is he in? -
nic1633cWaits is a junior I believe and I know he finished 2nd at the kilbourne tourney back in Dec

Fatmanroll>PetersonCoaches,
Make sure you check your email from Randy, answer to questions concerning the tournament and ACT -
lowsingle174The season has been taking its toll on my guys. Has anyone else had to get through this flu that is going around? We have a dual tonight with Licking heights and Buckey valley, and as of right now I have 3 guys out with the flu legitimately. The bug is going around my team. Anyone else been banged up as well? This is a brutal stretch for some of our younger guys.
-
Fatmanroll>PetersonThis past weekend at New Albany it hit us hard. My 103, 140, and Varsity 171 all were out sick.
-
Westie101lowsingle, give us an update on here how a jones vs. maynard/dunlap match goes if it happens!
-
lowsingle174You got it. I will have updates after the match. The Brakeman is out.... I don't think one city kid is mentioned. Hauber from Central Crossing is mentioned and jones beat him 11-3. I'm a little bitter..
-
nic1633cI predict Jones beats either one by at least 5 points
-
Fatmanroll>PetersonJust got an email that the JV meet at Centennial is canceled due to lack of participants. That sucks. Not every team sent JV kids last year and there seemed to be more than enough participants.
-
nic1633cNow that the grades are in did anyone lose anyone or gain anyone that could affect their roster and if so does anyone have new predictions
-
80babyI know the feeling I have yet to put my best team on the mat at the same time. Every week I have someone out sick well it's better now then in 2 or 3 weeks.

Must have been a heck of a match.....Maynard comes out on top 2-1 OTWestie101;655112 wrote:lowsingle, give us an update on here how a jones vs. maynard/dunlap match goes if it happens! -
lowsingle174It was a really good match between maynard and Jones. At one point in the match, Jones lifts maynard with a double and hits the mat with him in a position to score, and Maynard pulls a houdini and scrambles out of the takedown. It was a good match for both guys. 8 tough minutes. Maynard Rode out Jones, and we kicked him in the last 30 sec to try for the winning takedown.
It was a great match. -

That kind of match could really benefit both kids in the next couple of weeks.....lowsingle174;656425 wrote:It was a really good match between maynard and Jones. lowsingle174Dad4sports, I know. I will see you guys at Watkins Next weekend. I am excited for some more great matches. I always enjoy watching your son pin people and hit that nasty Peterson! Thanks for the city interest, we need it! Take it easy.

If he weighed in at 30 and wrestled 35, is he allowed to wrestle 25? I thought you couldn't go up two weight classes (ie 25 to 35)Fatmanroll>Peterson;656178 wrote:Indy coach says Ross is going to 125, wrestled 135 last night. You can weigh in no more than 1 class up....you can wrestle no more than 2 classes up AND still retain eligibility for your lowest weight classCoachLWT;657105 wrote:If he weighed in at 30 and wrestled 35, is he allowed to wrestle 25? I thought you couldn't go up two weight classes (ie 25 to 35)
So if he weighed in at 132.0 or less (assuming he already made scratch) and wrestled at 135...... then he can still wrestle 125 (127) -

Thank you for clarification -
80babyWow we are two weeks out and no one has any thoughts on team or individual champions. So let's try to put some rankings together.
-
Westie101Ross vs. Hendricks should be a great match.

Beechcroft lost four starters from an already thin line up. The coach (me) is devastated! However, I don't think anyones predictions will change.
